This beautiful community park has so many amenities. Tennis courts, play gym and sitting in the middle of the park is the Crossroads Community Center AND Meals On Wheels provide hot lunches on scheduled days for age 60 plus inside the community center.Sylvan Library is right next to the park. There are trails to explore and enjoy the sound of water flowing and/or support your local for a good read in the park.

Unfortunately the park has gone down hill, I have fond memories running around here as a child. The near by homeless camp has spilled onto the playground, trash everywhere and the undeniable smell of urine. Please do better protecting our children's play areas.

Homeless frequent the parking lot, children's play structure is clean. The old tennis courts have pickleball lines, and people meet weekly to play.Playground: Clean with a slide and swings. Good for kids under 8.Restrooms: Restrooms are locked to prevent the homeless from entering.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are not allowed on the tennis court but are allowed everywhere else.

This is an okay park in Citrus Heights. Just okay. Nothing remarkable. The playground is pretty small and good enough for the kiddos - that is, if it isn't overrun with peddlers. The redeeming quality here is its location right behind the Sylvan Library.

It's a nice community park with a lot of bunnies and turkeys roaming about. There is a nice play structure for kids. There is a small community center and two tennis courts that are painted for pickleball players too. There are often homeless ppl hanging out behind the community center and near the creek.

Being part of the unwanted because of our homelessness we are treated as so UNWANTED therefore the ugliness over rides the beauty.

Sad. Too many domestic rabbits here are dying here. They NEED to be rescued, not kept for visitors to look at. They are DPMESTIC RABBITS, not wild ones. They can't survive in the wild. RESCUE them and give them good loving homes.

Crosswoods Park has enabled the illegal abandonment of domestic rabbits for over 30 years now and does little to help the rabbits. Multiple rabbits are found dead each month due to preventable illnesses. Domestic rabbits do not survive In the wild; they lack the survival instincts of wild rabbits. They are not immune to diseases such as ear mites, heatstroke, respiratory illness, and more. They are also highly susceptible to a deadly global rabbit pandemic that public health officials are monitoring vigorously called RHDV2, rabbit hemorrhagic disease. It's highly contagious and deadly for both domestic and wild rabbits, and if it finds its way to Sacramento county, the park could be liable for a massive outbreak. Please don't allow animals to suffer. What if there were stray cats or dogs in the park? Rabbits are smart, sensitive creatures like cats and dogs that deserve safe, loving, indoor homes. I have seen first-hand the horrible conditions some of these rabbits face, like a grey bunny named Bailey at the park who had the worst case of ear mites I had ever seen. It was so painful, she screamed when rescuers caught her. (Rabbits only scream when in extreme pain, and they handled her gently). Please do something about this rabbit population. There are so many of us that care deeply about the rabbits and want to help find them homes and prevent more rabbits from being abandoned or born at the park.

I've found several dead and severely injured domestic rabbits here in the past year. The Parks department and animal control have done nothing to help these defenseless domestic rabbits. People have been dumping domestic rabbits here for 30+years. When unhoused people are here the police leave vacate notices without any phone number or recommend place for them to go to for resources.

This place is a dumping ground for abandoned pet rabbits. The city and local officials have done nothing to deal with the moral and ethical issue at their park.
