Dos Coyotes offers a delicious and casual Southwestern dining experience. Their 3 taco plate is a must-try, allowing you to explore different flavors. The salsa bar adds another layer of customization, letting you adjust the spice level and toppings to your preference. Overall, Dos Coyotes is a great choice for a satisfying Mexican food meal.

Better food than any fast food place & cheaper too.Kid-friendliness: We were there close to closing & for once we weren't rushed out we actually took our time with no pressure to leave.

I wanted to share my experience at this location.I have been eating here for years, it has gone up and down with some experiences I have had, BUT this last visit was fantastico! When I walked in, they said "Hello!". Saying hello can change a person's whole perspective on service, which it did mine. There was one gentleman ahead of me, but, noticed a young lady, a possible assistant manager. She waved me down and said "What are you going to have today". Wow! I felt like royalty! Of course I explained, she was quick to voice the kitchen area chef's and relayed my needs. I then started the process with the young lady at the register and she formally took my order. During the payment, one of the chefs even flagged me down and stated, "What type of meat?", I said "Carne Asada". They were on it! Once I put my wallet in my pocket and started walking, my food was ready! Excellent teamwork for sure from this place. Now, that being said, I recognized what the manager was doing, she was expediting to be sure that I was taken care of as she noticed a couple behind me and another hungry customer coming in behind them. Great work! The manager didn't let me grab the plate yet as she offered to take it out for me. Me being great with customer service as well, said "I got it, its fine". My main reason for doing that, is I wanted her to be able to assist the other flock of customers coming in. That is just how I am...Customer service is my thing as well and I recognized that. Well done again Dos!Later, after grabbing all my good salsa, etc., I then sat down and noticed a few other things. No trash cans, why, because they got it! You don't need to throw anything out, it's all done for you. I felt as if I was in my own house with compassionate, hard working people to take care of yuh! Now, the tables and floors were immaculate, clean and neat. Great job Dos!In closing: You don't feel like just another customer. You are treated as a guest, in which ALL restaurants, even fast food, should be treating customers. We aren't just a person coming in demanding things, we are here to pay and have a great meal, service experience.Plusses about this place:+Great service+Clean and neat environment+Food will fill belly and very healthy to boot+Prices are reasonable, based on the ingredients and freshness of everything.+Staff is very cordial and supportive as a team and to the customers.I give very high praises to the franchisee owner, if that is the situation. Great job and leadership across the board.Thank you again Dos Coyotes!

I placed an online order for a shrimp burrito. Went to pick it up and just got home. They either made my order wrong or gave me someone else's food. Store wasn't busy. Very disappointing. I called them and they offered to make it for me but I don't have time to drive 30+ minutes roundtrip.

We moved to Citrus Heights from Sacramento last year. We have frequented Dos in the past, as a go-to on the nights I don't feel like cooking and we want something fresh. I tend to get the California fish tacos (one mahi, one shrimp), which are like a "litmus test" for me in terms of quality and taste. So far, I must admit, at this location they have been "okay...." Some nights, lacking in product or finesse, but otherwise acceptable. Last night, my husband brought home tacos that I had a hard time NOT eating. They were full of good things, dripping down my wrists delectable. I don't know what changes were made, but please, keep it coming. Last week I would have given four stars, today (after a good "taco-gasm") I give a five.

Super fast and friendly service. Not the best Mexican food ever, but better than most.

It use to be good, I don't know if there's new management, but the food is way overpriced and they're extremely stingy with the chips. What good is the endless salsa bar with only a handful of chips. Authentic Mexican food isn't nowhere near as expensive as Dos Coyotes.
