Fair amount of stuff, don’t expect to find a lot in here though, because you know it’s a small corner inside of Macy’s

Tried to purchase some cologne at your Citrus Heights location, staff was to busy chatting to even come and help. Got tied of waiting and finally just left and went elsewhere, guess your not actually in the business of making money. One younger gentleman taking care of three counters, while these lady stand by and ignore everyone. The days of customer service are long gone, gee I wonder why department stores are going out of business.

Lady at Clinique counter is extremely rude, aggressive, and fake. Managers show favoritism to certain employees and live off gossip. Don't work here, and if you shop here, tell the lady at the Clinique counter to get an attitude check and stop treating her co-workers like garbage. That lady is only fake nice to customers because it's her commission money she cares about. Yet her co-workers she treats horribly and gossips about. She harassed a brand new cosmetic worker out of the store , she only worked there for a few weeks! The young lady was very helpful, but you could tell she was scared of the Clinique counter because of the old lady. Terrible work environment if you hate dealing with narcissistic people.

I am always amazed at tge service that I get from Alisha at Mac costmetics at Macy's Sunrise blvd , Citrus Heights , CA. Alisha takes care of my cosmetic needs, and is always so patient and eager to help. She has great customer service etiquette and I would highly recommend customers go check Alisha out. Thank you Alisha for for consistently providing excellent customer service.

The customer service here is subpar. I walked in to return a dresser and the first associate I found told me to find someone else upstairs to help me. I waited for a little over an hour before someone finally gave some assistance. Then once the process started the same associate who told me to go upstairs decided to finally be useful. She told the associate actually helping me to stop and not accept the return because it was an online order. The website clearly states that I could drop off an online order as a return but for some reason they didn't accept it. I won't be buying from Macys anymore. There is reason why department stores are failing and this is one of them

Customer service is horrible... Service pickup associate (younger female with darker hair) has absolutely no guest service skills. She was miserable from start to finish.

I'm giving 4 stars because despite the fact it's in a dead mall and much of the store is outdated and needs work, it does have some very shiny parts that I will happily pop in for. 1. 2nd floor restroom in the women's department is just clean and quiet enough to use in peace and without fear you will catch some unheard of deadly disease. 2. Beauty section! Lots of options if you like Benefit makeup or perfume. 3. Decent sales 4. Not busy at all so great to pop in and out fast!

My Sister and I went to Ulta across the street before going to Macys on Sunrise today. We were looking for eye shadows and night creme, so at Ulta we were able to use the testers. While in Macy's at one of the makeup counters we were testing the eye shadows and foundations while two sales Women were not busy and watching us for about 15 minutes. Finally they asked a sales Woman to help us and she became quite rude. She was tall with brown hair and part Asian, she told us were rude for testing as in Sac Co you aren't allowed to do that. Across the street in Ulta which is in Sacramento Co it was allowed. She used a threatening voice and was completely out of line. This Macy's is obviously going out of business as the store is always empty.

They completely ruined my engagement surprise! I will say this issue is not worth the sunrise location but more with customer care/ fraud prevention. My now fiancé went into sunrise to purchase an engagement ring to my surprise but they didn't have my size in store so the told him to order online. This is when everything went wrong. He ordered the ring he liked and the order got cancelled he called to speak with someone in the customer care dept and they assured him that they solved whatever problem and to just order it again and the first order would be refunded. So of course he reorders it thinking that it would be fine this time but NOPE once again after charging the card they cancel the order. At this point he doesn't know what to do so he had to ruin the surprise of purposing to me and ask me for help to make sure he gets the money back. So I call customer care and I get no help no answers to my questions and when I ask "is my money just not good enough to shop at Macy's?" The man answers "Yes exactly!" I couldn't believe it. I called corporate and a woman named Lashay was able to help me after and hour and a half on the phone she was able to process the purchase over the phone with me thankfully. But it completely ruined the surprise of my engagement and ruined the romantic surprise he had planned. This is extremely devastating as getting purposed to is supposed to be an exciting surprise which turned out to be a nightmare I almost considered not getting married because I felt it was just a sign since the purchase of the ring wasn't going through. The lack of help and the disrespect I received from customer care was just awful and after my experience I would like to be contacted by someone who can help me make this right!

The staff is extremely rude. I am a healthcare worker and work 12 hour shifts. I asked my husband to pick up the order. The staff was extremely rude and he was treated with disrespect.
