Tonight I had a very disappointing and disrespectful experience at the store when the manager Marissa refused to honor my 25% off coupon on a sale item, despite the coupon clearly stating it's valid for such items and not being excluded. I pulled the coupon up on my phone and presented it to Marissa to which she responded in a very condescending and rude tone "over two dollars?" It's one thing to correct me if I'm wrong and let me know the coupon isn't valid on the items I'm purchasing but that was not the case as I'm very familiar with Michael's coupons/sales and checked all the exclusions prior to coming into the store. Her refusal and mockery was frustrating, it left me with a very negative impression of the store's customer service especially since she was a manager being rude over such a small amount. I hope management addresses these issues to ensure a better experience for customers in the future by properly training employees.

DO NOT trust their UPS service run by the employees of Michaels. Once I received my packages, they were tampered with; original packaging not in tact and taped over as though they opened them to check out the contents. Terrible!!!

this is the third time I've gone into this store and felt like there is no one there who wants to assist me. Since putting in the self check out, there are few cashiers available. The one I spoke to today was resistant to answering my questions or giving me help. when I went into the store, I walked to the frame department, and before I could ask my question I was told that they probably couldn't help me even though it was a simple question about where to look. When the signage all over the store in the frames section was two for one. I assumed incorrectly that my frame was any two-for-one. at the counter i couldnt get help to figure out which frames were on sale without eye rolling. When I asked, could somebody bring me the frame that I needed more eye rolling is what I got. It seems that the management at this Michaels is not interested in training their employees for customer service. I am old school and from a time when people actually did want to serve the customers. Now that we have everything automated, maybe the management could look at their employee communications. I don't think I will be returning to this Michael's. though I did see some kindness of your employees to one another so I know kindness is possible amongst them. One was even willing to go back to the back of the store near the frames and bring the counter salesperson her drink. when I had to go to the back of the store to retrieve the second frame that I needed, there were a couple of employees, kindly talking to each other, and not to any other customers. We really are on our own as customers.

Omg! I cannot recommend Ashlea enough!!!! She went above & beyond this evening. I needed a custom frame done for a funeral the next day and even though it's not their norm to be able to accommodate that she thought outside the box and helped me come up with a solution! Plus she was so fun to chat and hang out with for 30 min while my frame was getting made. On top of that she didn't know originally it was for a funeral. She could just see the desperation in my face and jumped to action! You don't see that level of customer service anymore. Thank you Ashlea!

Ashley is so very helpful and professional at her job. I placed a call to Michael's yesterday looking for a specific product. Ashley took a lot of time to research what I needed. She was friendly, kind and eager to help me. Excellent employee!!

I don't really shop at Michael's often. Mostly during the holidays for my Christmas crafts and the gifts I make family & friends. I always appreciate their low prices and variety of items. This review is specifically for the employee that helped us on Wednesday night December 14th. His name was Jeff. I've worked in retail my entire adult life & I know how hectic it can be, especially during the holidays. The work this he was putting in was admirable. He was ringing behind the register, delegating other employees, guiding other customers to the self checkout and items they needed, dealing with a loss prevention ordeal & still managed to sign us up for a membership and the discounts that came with it. Truly a hard working employee that deserves praise Thanks again Jeff!

I've bought art supplies for years from Michael's as an art teacher. I'm very happy this store was located near my home and school which allowed me to always be prepared for teaching art to elementary students.

Manager was rude, argued they do not pricematch target online only the "brick and mortar store of target" when its impossible to look up a price on target that "is in store and not online". Maybe she should re-read her price match policy that shows ELIGBLE ONLINE RETAILERS... TARGET.COM She still refused to price match. Even tried to say "theres a sale on the item in their store and they can't price match it" which she was wrong about again. New girl didn't help. Seemed lost.

I paid over $300 ot have a watercolor painting framed. While they did a good job, they neglected to put hanging wire on the back of the picture. It cannot be hung on the wall without the wire. When I called to ask for some wire, they wanted to charge me extra saying that it was too heavy to hang on the wall with wire even though they installed the loops on the back through which to run wire! I used to co-own an art gallery in SF and KNOW how pictures are supposed to be prepared for wall hanging. I will purchase some wire at Home Depot and take my framing business elsewhere!

Unfortunately this store is another example of untrained employees and management. Easy fix. Teach your people what customers service means!
