The customer service peeps, the "Managers," are all rude. This store needs to hire more professionals who aren't rude to the customers. At Costco you dont have to deal with rude employees, Sams needs to step up to the plate at this location. Its really going ghetto

Cashier was extremely rude. I flipped the items in the basket over so she could easily scan the barcodes she processes to pull everything out and left it on the side. When I asked her why she just left everything she said it's not her job to put it in the basket. If you have employees that hate their job so much maybe they shouldn't be working there. Not to mention the inappropriate conversations about sexual orientation holding up the line for over 10 mins then lying that they were talking about the membership as if we didn't hear everything standing in line. When we confronted her about this she said if we don't like it then go to another line. The worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Oof where to start. The gas attendants here are ANYTHING but friendly. The management team is incompetent AF when you bring anything to their attention. It's just a bad bad bad and poorly ran location.

We've been a long-term and faithful supporter of Costco. Had joined Sam's years ago, cuz it cost only $20. Didn't renew, since their selection of items didn't keep us from continuing forward. Came across another Sam's membership offer, again at $20. Why not, the Wife and I said... so here we go again for another year. Can Sam's club keep us intrigued with a wider selection of goods, past the first year? (We are a big Walmart customer, so we drive past Sam's, often. Why not???)

I'm an avid Sam's club member and am at Sam's at least once a week. I do a pick up order at least a couple times a month. I've never had an issue..until tonight. I always place my order in the morning when I get to to work so like 8am and always for a 5-6pm pickup. Thought it was weird when I got off at 5pm I hadn't received a text or email confirming my order is done. This order only had 9 items in it. I only work 5mins away from Sam's so when I got in the car I tried calling. Service desk transferred me to the grocery pick up department. Ringing for at least 5 mins, I know cause I left work and got to Sam's within that phone call of being on hold. I parked where you pick up groceries. I hang up call again and transferred again. On hold for 10 more mins with it just ringing. And still no text or email about my order is ready. I've had it. Go in and go to that department. Found one person in there and he's sorting through orders. I can tell he's flustered. I call him over and he's very apologetic but he doesn't know where my order is. Asks for the order # and looks it up. And he tells me they're still working on it. Ok, that's fine. But this is where it goes south. I ask if there's anyway to know how much longer my order will be and he doesn't know. So I kindly ask for a supervisor/manager. After a few mins of looking he finally finds one. She's an older lady with long hair. We tell her what the issue is and she's like 'well guess they're still working on it so wait'. No apologies nothing. I get it they're short staffed and I understand that. I was in the grocery business for over 10 years I get it. But first rule of customer service no matter what, you apologize for the inconvenience. You don't tell someone to just wait. And she walks away. Well as we were talking a young man came over with orders he just pulled and the other guy I was talking to was like ok it might be in this. The order the guy that came up without even knowing what my order # is says nope it's not here I'm still working on the 4pm orders. And the other guy was like here's the confirmation number can you look. So he does and I have one thing from my order in all the orders he had on his cart. I'm confused. Why would you have multiple pieces of orders in your cart. I then ask is my other items being pulled and he's like probably but they're pretty scattered, I would just cancel the order if I were you. So I cancel. And I ask how long for a refund and they said 3-7 business days. Omg. And this guy is pretty rude and I just didn't think it was right. I go up front to ask for a manager to talk to because the whole thing is pretty ridiculous. I waited 15 mins for them to tell me the store manager isn't in and it's this same lady that walked away from me. This whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and I would stay away, far away from grocery pick up. This lady says she's one of the assistant store managers and she is rude. I mean Sam's club is cool if you don't ever need help or need to talk to someone. Do better Sam's club.

If you're looking to have curbside pick up, I would not recommend this establishment at all. I thought that ordering one item and having it ready for pick up would be a fast transaction. I was so wrong. After waiting for 38 seven minutes I walked in to find out if I could just pick up my one item and go ahead and leave. One of the two people that were doing check out at the door for people leaving the building, said no when I asked if I could just pick up the package and show my ID that it's me. That has got to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced at this establishment and it seems to be that it keeps getting worse and worse by the week. Even though I'm retired I was looking to have a job there and the manager said that they were completely staffed and had no more room for anybody, but apparently they have no staff that knows how to work. And my opinion might be even the manager. Maybe the manager needs to look for another job. Of course I'm lashing out a little bit because I can't stand being treated as a non-paying customer when in fact, I have membership. Maybe I need to switch to Costco.

I for years have done my shopping after work and before I start shopping ordered pizzas so they are done when I'm done shopping. Lately when I have gone in to do this they are not making whole pizzas to go. Me and others have had to leave with no food ordered to pick up something elsewhere when we are done shopping 5:30 PM and no pizzas for after work shoppers to take home is mind blowing and makes going back to Costco shopping a possibility

Cheapest gasoline in Citrus Heights Orangevale area. Easy access through the parking lot or via the side street. Ample areas at the pumps, easy to pay at the pump.

It's a club and it's SAM'S. I went to one in Minnesota and enjoyed it over the other club. I found a coupon for a discount but it had to be done online and I was actually at the store so I joined anyway at the regular member price.

I can get five items of food and it ends up being $250 this store definitely jumped on the inflation bandwagon. Basically no single parents can afford anything here. Don't waist your time trying.

I know the pizza & soda at Sams club is cheap. However, the pizza I ordered had raw dough. When I told the woman behind the counter she just said, "OK" then just walked away. So all this to say be careful to make sure the dough is done. If not exchange it for a new slice/pizza. Had to talk to customer service just to have something done.

Well, I have shopped at both Sam's and Costco since they both opened years ago. There are things I like about both stores equally and some things I find at one and not the other. Price wise I would say Sam's is less expensive. But when it comes to customer service. Sorry Sam's you get an "F". Your stores are not as clean as Costco. Your employee's are rude, and customer service is terrible. In the past two months both my sister and I have made on line grocery orders via Sam's web site. The store charges $8.00 plus tip for a scheduled delivery. We both are using this because the stores are just not pleasant to shop in person anymore. Well out of four orders between the two of us, only one actually got delivered. It was missing a couple of items as well. The other two were mysteriously returned to the store with no explanation after being out for delivery? The last order was delivered to the wrong address? Over $200.00 worth of groceries to someone for free?? Customer service, well that is joke. You wait 10 mins. to get onto a chat and then someone eventually comes on and offers a refund. If you want any further information call the store. Well, that is another hot mess at least at Sam's Citrus Heights store. The girl that eventually picked up after more than 12 rings, asked what I wanted and before i could say boo, told me she didn't handle that and transferred me to an eternal hold. After 10 more mins. I hung up, which I guess is the object. Clearly Sam's is probably paying these "delivery people" peanuts and anyone off the street who has a car has the job. So to me it seems like the drivers are cashing in on free groceries and the store is losing customers. Either way good luck finding out what happened to your order. And good luck on the refund as well. I will be shopping exclusively at Costco from here on out. It may cost more but they are cleaner and the people that work there are nicer. If you have a problem it gets resolved.: Follow up; Today, two days after my order was placed for delivery yesterday, I opened my front door to go to an appointment and there sitting in the 105 degree sun were my groceries, apparently delivered sometime between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. No one even rang my door bell. I was told my order was canceled both by email and by a customer service rep when it did not get delivered?? Now the food, most of which was frozen was sitting in the hot sun for perhaps as much as 3 hours? Kinda unreal. AVOID ORDERING GROCERIES FOR DELIVERY FROM SAMS!!!!

The Sam's club on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights is a very poor place to shop for people needing motorized carts to navigate the store. For those who are disabled and don't have the means to purchase a motorized cart, this location is not doing enough to accommodate disabled people. They have 5 carts and only 2 are operational. Get your act together, Sam's Club!

If I could give 0stars I would , specifically to the food court. Lady taking orders was extremely rude, disrespectful, and miserable . Horrible experience with her tried to order and she kept snapping that they didn't have that and after the third time I finally asked what do you have and she rudely snapped back that all they had was pizza, hotdogs and pretzels. To make it even better almost every soda didn't work .

I love Sam's it is my weekend to go place. So much to choose from. I prefer Sam's over Costco. You can get in early if you have a membership that pays you back. Again I love Sam's Club so much that I moved back to the area because they didn't have a Sam's in the area that I lived in.
