BEYOND disappointed and infuriated with Verizon right now. I signed up for new service while taking advantage of the recent trade-in an old phone for credits towards a new phone promotion. Turns out, Verizon charges you for a FULL month's worth of service on top of activation fees and other charges and taxes - even if you joined a day before their next billing cycle starts. Say, for instance, you joined and signed up for service with a new phone on the 10th (billing cycle starts on the 11th). On top of paying the cost of the phone or taxes if you make payments on the phone in-store, they will bill you for a FULL month of service (in addition to the activation fee) even though you've only used one day of service in that billing cycle. In my case, I was charged $190 for 3 days of service because they don't pro-rate and charge you by the day if you join halfway through the billing cycle or even three days before the next billing cycle as happened in my case. My bill breakdown was as follows: October 8 - October 11 Bill One time charge/fee (activation fee): $35 Plan (unlimited plus): $90 Devices: $39.19 Services and perks (mobile protection): $17 Surcharges: $8.12 Taxes & Gov. fees: $1.99 As you can see, they charge you for a full 30 days worth of service instead of the amount of days you actually used. I just spoke to Billing at Verizon over the phone and they told me there's nothing they can do and it just is what it is. They also told me that I the sales agent was supposed to disclose that information with me during the process. Needless to say, I was NEVER told anything REMOTELY related to this and now I'm down $200 when I'm struggling to save every dollar I can right now. The sales agent, Ojas, likely gets commission from those transactions and unfortunately I'm the sucker that has to pay for it. If I would have had this information in advance, I never would've followed through with any of it and/or I would've waited a few days to sign up at the beginning of the next billing cycle. I didn't even know I had an outstanding balance until today - FOUR MONTHS LATER. I was never notified via text, call, email - nothing. Very convenient that they don't tell you about this stuff until months after they accrue LATE FEES for each month... I've had nothing but billing and service problems with Verizon since the day I signed up for service, and I've genuinely never had such a negative experience with a company before. I'm taking a look at all my options currently (legal options and otherwise) because I've in essence been scammed and unfairly charged for service I did not use. If I'm unable to find a resolution to it, I'm going to stay far away from Verizon for the rest of my life and strongly dissuade every single person I know from using Verizon for their services. Very very shady and frustrating, I would NOT recommend Verizon - nor would I recommend this location.

We have been a good customer for around 10 years with small business account, unfortunately for the last year, Verizon services seriously started to be junk but yet more and more expensive, so we ported out and only kept the wifi hot spots for our food trucks, but even though Verizon told us they would readjust the account balance once we return an item back, they have not done so and suspended our account, after the business manager Alecia at Citrus Heights store Promised that she would help out and follow up, we made another payment, and today, she has suspended our account, Verizon still hasn't returned our refund, so we are cutting ALL our relations with them period, the most expensive, scammers in the planet, LEGIT..They will be SUED very soon for this, but we're not waiting for long time for a class action, i will be going to sue them at small claims court if they still don't do right by me and adjust my account..Do yourselves a favor, DO NOT TRUST VERIZON..They are a horrible and insensitive company with Scamming in mind.

This review is for the Citrus Heights Birdcage Verizon store. I bought a used iPhone from Amazon and went in to transfer my old phone over. This store is an authorized dealer. I deducted one star for Verizon charging me $29.99 to transfer my phone but aside from this I had the luck of getting Kayley to assist me. SHE'S FIVE STAR AND KNOWS HER STUFF! Kayley also helped my daughter order a new S24 Ultra phone before it came out, a watch and tablet plus go over her bill in detail and answer all her questions (we also have Verizon home wifi -- I also recommend their home wifi). These stores don't have very good yelp ratings so now you have an in with Verizon. Go in and ask for Kayley! She will hook you up.

Craig is super helpful, friendly, and provided top notch customer service. I work late and was able to make it 5 min before close to drop my trade-in off. Turns out the Verizon app chat bot messed up the trade-in and he was able to quickly resolve the issue despite being a few min past 7pm! Thank you!!

Let's be clear, I have no idea if the workers here get a commission, but the gentleman who helped my husband and I absolutely didn't want to do what we needed. We needed to exchange phone cases because we purchased the wrong size. This turned into realizing we ordered the wrong phone altogether. We asked him to initiate an exchange, he insisted he could only do a return. Hubby who has experience in the field let him know that we weren't only aware that exchange was an option, but that he could also charge us the difference in tax and ship us the phone. He hastily agrees and then tells us that our bill is due today(it wasn't) and he couldnt process. Hubby went into our mobile account and showed him that this also wasn't correct. Suddenly he is able to do the transaction we needed.Hubby asked for a specific phone case, he checked the display cases and returned to say that they didn't have what we wanted. When hubby pushed he was suddenly able to check the back for more ..30 minutes wasted on lies and refusal to do the job.We will NOT be back to this location!

Dishonest and disappointing. I came in asking for a phone and a plan, and ended up with a premium protection and apple one addition. Salesman took advantage of my ignorance re: phone plans. Oldest story in the world, super boring. Just use the online chat.

Love this store, and its staff are a credit to the company name. Braxton was incredibly helpful in setting our phones up and is providing us with future assistance should we require it.

Upgrading my phone at this store has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had. I was helped by a sales person who had a pleasant demeanor but failed to present me with options. She didn't ask if I needed more storage or wanted a better camera. I got home and realized I should have purchased a phone with a better camera. When I went back they insisted that a restocking fee can't be waived and they felt that I should have told them which phone I wanted. According to the sales associate and manager I said I wanted to something comparable to what I had. The only information I gave was that I wanted to upgrade to a larger screen. No questions were asked to determine my needs. I refuse to pay a restocking fee. The manager (whom I witnessed mocking a customer earlier) places all blame on me. Clearly he expected me to come in knowing which phone I wanted. I was under the impression that the sales person's job was to help me decide what would work for me. She is the expert. The manager was very dismissive and disrespectful. I would not recommend anyone go to this location. I called customer service and they said they don't have access to this stores systems so they can't help me with the restocking fee. They seem to not manage this location so you have no recourse if you have a bad experience. Evidently Verizon signs off on this kind of behavior from their employees.

I asked for a manager who was standing right there but never identified or introduced himself. So while speaking to the rep trying to explain my issue, THEN this manager spoke up. I found out who he was only by looking at his name tag - Brandon/Manager. He then spoke to me, but not looking at me; how rude! Thankful the rep., Braxton, finished helping me & was cordial, but he claimed everything on my old phone would be transferred over to my new phone; it was not!So, management set a bad example, and need to be trained in better customer service & professionalism, then train their staff better and or be honest with their customers.

This shitty company is like the worthless ex boyfriend who does not get the message that you broke up with him and want NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM. I won't waste my time telling you details about this company's - Verizon, not just this store - shady practices. I will simply tell you to take your business elsewhere. If you aren't wise enough to heed that warning, that's on you. If you end your business relationship with this worthless company, they will harass you constantly. Every 2-4 weeks these ass hats send solitations to my home with my full name on it. Hell no. I won't live in this rental any longer than I have to, and I don't want my full name lathered all over the future victim's mail. These stupid solitations cannot be stopped by the postal carrier and this infuriates me that I'm being harassed like this by Verizon. Go eff yourself Verizon. I will never give you my business again. Get the hint, get lost. LEAVE ME ALONE.

Phylicia was a joy to converse with while she worked diligently on my account. A wonderful environment and clean store.
