I pick up my medication. The associates are polite and store has almost everything I needed. But sometimes they are busy and it's difficult to find someone to help customers. But still this pharmacy my choices for shopping.

Employees here are beyond horrible. Checker Royce is so rude - I've never written a bad review before but I had to today. If I could rate below 1 star I would.

Rude employees. Went here for passport pics, called literally 5 min before I got to the store to make sure they were available there. Got to the store, had a really big lady worker "help" me and she acted like I was totally inconveniencing her, made me wait just to tell me they "aren't doing passport photos right now " no sorry or anything, just a super rude, bitter employee - this place is a complete waste of space.

The Worst PharmacyThe lines and wait times are long, incompetent staff, rude pharmacists, meds are always "out of stock" and they make you wait for days even though that med is life-saving, they never communicate well the issues, hardly anyone answers the phone, and always delay after delay on refills. No wonder there's a boarded up window and a what looks like something being thrown at the pharmacy door's glass window. I wouldn't be surprise if it was from a pissed off customer!

I rarely need to visit a pharmacy, but have gone to this one twice in the last week to fill prescriptions. Their computers were down BOTH times. Now they can't fill a very necessary post op prescription due to their faulty systems. If you need prescriptions filled reliably DO NOT CHOOSE WALGREENS.

The lady answered the phone call in this branch was so rude. She sound like just fought with her boyfriend or husband. Hang up on me while I still want to ask questions. Manager should review and improve your staff professionalism. Most of the reviews I read are bad. Poor service!!!!

Called in a prescription several days ago, they had to get doctor permission to refill and the doctors office authorized the refill that evening. A couple of days go by and my prescription STILL hadn't been filled, so I called and asked the doctor's office to call them again to authorize the refill last night, as I HAD to have the refil filled toda. I tried calling the pharmacy all day, only to be placed on hold until the phone disconnects me. I had to walk in to the pharmacy to FORCE them to fill the prescription.It should NOT have to take a week to get a prescription filled, and the staff in the pharmacy need to answer their phones.

Miss this Walgreens like the plague if you need to use the restroom, EVEN IF IT'S AN EMERGENCY. Apparently they pick and choose based on how you look whether or not to open the restroom. Front counter told me "I'm supposed to tell customers that it's closed, unless it's an emergency" (even though I just said it was). She proceeded to "radio" to a coworker who then said "no, Walmart or Targets restroom should be open."Terrible customer service.

I called 20 minutes before the pharmacy closed and no one answered. I waited 40 minutes and hung up. That’s ridiculous to leave people on the phone knowing your closing even though they called 20 minutes before closing.

Unbelievably horrid service. Literally ZERO concern for customer service. Have been trying to contact the Pharmacy for 3 days..about 15 calls, each placed on hold for an hour and then hung up on without any help. Store clerk said "Yeah, we're busy" before ALSO simply hanging up. Worthless pieces of s**** I'm not asking for help with Pringles... I'm trying to get POTENTIALLY LIFE SAVING MEDICINE!!

I wish I could put a NEGATIVE 1. The manager working this morning don't know her name DIDNT CARE TO was HORRIBLE AF‼ Bad day or not nobody wants to start their day off with someone who is a J**** It wasn't my fault that my picture was printed wrong and had to drive all the way back early this morning! SHE REPRINTS IT AND IT Was dirty so she had to REPRINT IT! Also, there was a another customer who was waiting for her package that said it was delivered 2 WEEKS AGO and the lady manager told her there is nothing in the system. SUPER RUDE, with a stank A** attitude she was WRONG YET AGAIN! The damn package was there! If you don't like your job find a NEW ONE because your stank a** attitude early this morning wasn't it! Nobody owes you SH*T and you don't own Walgreens. Be more kind NEXT TIME‼‼‼‼

After several bad experiences with the pharmacies at 2 of the Walgreens in Citrus Heights, my family and I are no longer doing any business with Walgreens stores. Here is our experience with this location. My daughter is immunocompromised. Due to a change in our insurance, we were told by the pharmacy they were waiting for some type of authorization and no further action needed to be taken on our part. We called everyday for a week and were not given a status nor resolution. This caused my daughter to feel distressed as she was close to running out of her prescription. We ended up transferring it to another pharmacy and it was filled within a few days. They even sent it to our house without a shipping cost. On another occasion, an employee would not administer the Covid-19 booster shot. He didn't even ask if she had any medical conditions. My daughter called me from the store. I told her to go back and explain she has a medical condition. The same employee sounded and was visibly annoyed by her return. His disposition and tone changed after the pharmacist confirmed she was eligible for the booster. He didn't acknowledge nor apologize for his mistake.
