My 2001 Toyota Rav4 had cylinder misfires on 3 and 4. I assumed they were bad spark plugs so I went to this Carquest shop to pick up two NGK spark plugs. Brought the spark plugs home, took out the two spark plugs in cylinder 3 and 4, and placed the new spark plugs in. I realized I made a huge mistake when I looked at my old spark plugs and found they were still in good condition. I should've checked the conditions of my old spark plugs first before making any assumptions on the cylinder misfires (the issue is probably the ignition coils given that they are the only non-OEM coils installed).Brought back the two spark plugs to Carquest for return, and the lady working the front of the store said they don't accept returns on spark plugs, but in this specific instance they will. Thanks for handling my ignorance with grace and kindness, and for providing great service! Happy holidays.
