“People helping people is what this store is all about. It is so nice to have a thrift store in the Claremont Village. All proceeds are donated to local organizations that help people. It’s a great way to contribute to the community…donating extra stuff and shopping here both help people in need.”

“Recently picked up a blind book for $10 and it was an excellent read! It came with stickers and a bookmark and the book was likely brand new because it didnt have any usage to it. Definitely a good deal. I would rather support this bookstore than buying used books from chain thrift stores because these books are in great condition.”

“My 13 yr old son loves it here. He's struggled all through 7th grade and when I say Middle Tree was heaven sent, I mean it! Since he started, his self esteem improved tremendously in regards to class work and homework. His teacher mentioned, he was doing a lot better in his classes and participating more. I love how the teachers are patient with him during tutoring. Their reward system is awesome too! I can't say enough great things about this program. If you're in the Whittier area check this place out! My son has picked up his grades and is interested in school because of the help Middle tree has provided. Middle tree was one of the best places he's been too. As a parent, this was a really big help!”

“My 5 year old daughter is having violin lessons here and her violin teacher is the best and perfect for working with kids. The area has safe parking and there is even a Baskin Robbins right next to it if you're having an ice cream craving. I highly recommend this music school”

“Uncommon Good is truly a gem. Hidden from the main streets behind a church down a long winding road, is a beautiful area with flowers, trees, all kinds of greenery. Bees are buzzing, butterflies dancing in the air and we even saw a wild rabbit last time we were there. There are little stoned paths that lead you around the farm. The man and woman who assist you are very polite and knowledgable in regards to the produce they bless you with. All of the fruits, vegetables and herbs are all organic and non GMO. They will even tell you the best ways to store each product to preserve the freshness. This farming program which is a non profit and seems like they manage it and oversee the upkeep and tending of the crops with the help of students from the local Pomona college who earn credits by volunteering their. It is certainly a beautiful atmosphere, and the blessing of free produce that is organic non GMO is huge. Trust me have you been SPROUTS. Organic is costly! And to top it off they give you your goodies in a reusable grocery bag. Five stars to Uncommon Good. And love the name, they are a real blessing for this local community.”
