DELI - I ordered a large turkey club sandwich from the menu. Eva (the worker) was terrible. I asked for it hot, the first thing she did was cut the bread and put mayonnaise and mustard on it (which doesn't even come on the sandwich it has ranch spread).
After that, she put on lettuce and turkey on it and asked me if I wanted any other ingredients. I said "Yes, the turkey club comes with turkey, bacon, & avocado". She seemed very confused. I finally gave up and walked out. ????

Manager made the brilliant decision to lock up pilferable merchandise and, for added security, not give the keys to any employees actually in the store. There are many great Safeways out there. This is not one of them.

They always have what I need. It is clean and tidy. Sometimes it can be difficult to pass people in the aisles due to the columns that are in a few of them.

I’m dealing with the most racist pharmacist ever her name is Cc at Safeway pharmacy in clayton ca. she been Audited for abusing her job.she only give controlled medication to her own kind other Asian people.she threatened to call the dea atf on me because I told her I’m not about to be a victim of racial discrimination with how she treat me as a patient I’m a young black man dealing with this issue something need to be done..a lot of Asian pharmacists in the Bay Area will tell u medications are back ordered just so they can give it to there own people.I’ve had this issue with this dam pharmacist since September 2023 and today she did this again..the supervisor said other people came forward about the same bias issues..clearly if u not Asian this will happen to alot of innocent patients in this is so wrong..

I shop at this Safeway all the time and have never had any complaints until recently. I am tired of seeing dogs in the store. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs but I do not feel they should he around food that people are purchasing. I understand that there are some people that truly depend on a dogs to get them around but we all know that 90+ % of people’s dogs are not service dogs. I know too many people that basically bought service dog vest on line. Today I seen a dog sitting in a cart. This is where we place our food people. I think employees need to be trained to let people know that this is not acceptable.
