“Bassett’s Station holds so many special memories for me from childhood and young adulthood, as my aunt and uncle once owned it. Going back after all these years was such a wonderful experience, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that so much of this historic gem has remained the same. It truly felt like walking down memory lane.
We ate there three times during our visit, and every meal was excellent. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The store is also full of fun and unique gift items, plus those little necessities you may have forgotten at home… like an iPhone charger ?
I loved sharing the experience with my friend who had never been to the area before. Bassett’s Station is truly a special place with so much charm, history, and beauty surrounding it.

“Didn’t stay, but had a delightful 60th birthday dinner at the lodge. Been here a few times and it never disappoints! Make sure to get reservations. Able to accommodate wife’s dairy allergy. Spent $30-40/person. Staff is wonderful, the setting is incredible and the food is fantastic! Make sure to take the short stroll to see the waterfall! Highly recommend!”

“We just stayed for the weekend and it was perfect! It was cozy and the owners thought of everything! The restaurant below closed early enough that we didn’t have any noise issues. We also enjoyed the pizza and front porch!!”
