J. Rickards Winery is a great little family winery in Northern Sonoma County, known for its amazing and absolutely amazing handcrafted wines, including outstanding red blends and Sauvignon Blanc. The winery offers an amazing wine experience with unparalleled and beautiful scenery from a beautiful shaded patio. Visitors enjoy a wholesome and down-to-earth atmosphere with super friendly, knowledgeable staff who provide a personal touch, sharing tidbits about the history of the vineyard and wine. The tasting includes a good variety of wines at affordable prices and an optional tour of the rustic barrel cave. The experience is so positive that visitors highly recommend it and plan to return. Tasting is by appointment Friday and Saturday, with walk-ins accepted based on availability Monday through Thursday. The fee is waived with a wine purchase. The winery is kid-friendly and pet-friendly.
This is a great little family winery. A beautiful shaded patio with nice views and a cool breeze. Super friendly staff! And wines that surprised us s in very pleasant ways. A good variety to taste from all at affordable prices.
