Food was fair but could have been much better. Ambiance was ok but could have been much better. Service could have been much quicker. I doubt that I will ever go back.

we eat takeout from Ararat at least once a week. What a great place the food is delicious, the servings are plentiful, and the staff are very nice and responsive. It’s just great to go a place and have someone say hello and use your first name as they remember you. the store part is full of the most unusual items from Eastern and south Central Europe every week. We try something different. I strongly encourage you to eat here, you will enjoy as much as we do.

Well this is a great place to taste some real home cooked food to perfection. Expect a place where you go to taste food not for ambiance and fancy decorations. It is a grocery store where you can buy some great Mediterranean essentials and enjoy a warm perfectly cooked food later at home . They have some chairs and table out side if you are like me and can not wait to eat lol. I had lamb which was very juicy and tasty . Also had chicken sandwich which was tasty . If you live near buy try this place . You will not be disappointed. I suggest to eat there to enjoy the real taste but locals were taking food home too .

friendly, family run, deli and market. The food is delicious. The staff are nice and personable. They remember your name and say hello when you come in. Huge selection of East European condiments, canned fruit and spices. Strong recommendation you will love this place.

Great store with ethnic diversity , the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the store had a great selection. The quality of the products exceeded my expectations, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a top-notch shopping destination!

Was craving Mediterranean/Israeli food and this hit the spot. The prepared food is made to order in a small grocery store which was such a gem. Got the falafel wrap and the lamb shish plate. Full of falafel in every bite. But the lamb.... One of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, succulent and juicy! Accompanied rice pilaf was also full of flavors. Tomato cucumber salad was refreshing and nice garlic sauce to dip. We also got hummus and baba ghanoush which were excellent. Will definitely come again!!

The food is always 10/10 and I've never had an anything disappointing from here. The spicy hummus is one of my favorites. The staff/owners are lovely people as well. Always friendly with prompt service.

The Kabob platters and wraps never disappoint, whether it's lamb pork chicken or beef it's all seasoned and grilled perfectly. The portions are always filling. Love finding the specialty items like lavosh and stuffed grape leaves at this market. Also love that it's family-owned.

Excellent lunch plates homemade with kind service. We had fun looking at all the offering in this tidy market while we waited for our food. Another gem in Clovis with friendly ambiance!

Always a reliable favorite Med rare lamb chops one bed pf delicious pilaf and veg salad with that amazing garlic sauce. Fresh pita bread to top it off. Ararat Market is such a joy to grab your meal and have a look around the store for items such as imported sweets, breads of all types, and a wide variety of drinks. If you haven't tried this place, treat yourself soon. If you have enjoyed a meal or two, have another and share with a good friend for a compete and enjoyable evening. You can thank me later!
