Love Clovis Hills Community Church. This is a great church to call your church home if you are looking for a church. Pastor Shawn does a great job keeping your attention, and his messages are very relevant to the current times. The worship team does a great job every week. Also, the people that attend here are awesome and friendly. Thank you Clovis Hills.

Biblical truth is what I find here. Sometimes it gives me deep reflection that makes me seek the truth for myself. I am encouraged by the pastor to pickup my Bible and read it. I haven't in my 10 or so years of going here found a teaching that's not right out of the Bible. I enjoy the outreach programs that focus on missions abroad and at home, as well as starting new churches in both areas. No church group is perfect and this one will tell you it isn't either but we pull together, get over differences, and pray together to bring the good news about Jesus to all who will hear. After all isn't that what it's about? If your seeking do come see for yourself we all are like pieces of a puzzle so come see if it's a fit for you and your family. God bless you and help you find your church, and maybe you'll find it's this one.

Shawn is a good pastor and I believe he genuinely cares. But the focus on growth ended up with a lot of people in positions they shouldn't have been. My wife and I were struggling when we got here. The first place we turned was their "marriage ministry", which was lead by a couple who had been divorced multiple times and who didn't seem to currently like each other. The next place we turned was their previous senior pastor Steve... who, incredibly, advised us we should separate over a disagreement about less than $5000 in credit card debt. No infidelity, no abuse, no major issues... but he encouraged us that finance was enough to end a marriage. Completely stunning and not biblical. Somehow, we survived that without splitting.... despite his advice. Finally, my wife entertained joining the worship team. We were both stunned by how much the worship pastor (now departed) emphasized the recognition and notoriety as a benefit of playing with them. Basically the Hillsong "this is a stepping stone for how I'm going to launch my real music career" vibe. Every inch of this place felt like a for-profit business run by people who had their own aspirations- except for Shawn. I have nothing negative to say about him. I just wish it had come with a smaller church that allowed him to not outsource ministry to people who generally did more harm than good.

We came here for a fundraiser event for Fresno Rescue Mission. It's a very lovely and large campus. We attended the BBQ and the concert with Jordan Feliz. We had to leave, though, because of the volume. It was so loud that we couldn't understand the lyrics. I could feel the reverberation in my chest. We left early because of it.

I love this church so much. I started coming in 2021, and I’ve never felt so adopted by a church family. Shawn Beaty really knows how to preach with facts, yet also relating to you personally. I love this church so much, and I could listen to Marlena sing worship all day.

The church is great unless you have a special needs child. Every single week you'll have to sign a permission slip basically to be able to come. You'll have no flexibility if you can't make it to the time you selected when signing this form. If your running late they will text to see where you are. The slogan here is "Welcome Home" but how can a place feel like home when you have to remember to fill in this form every single week. I tried reaching out to the pastor for a solution and his response was so copied and pasted. Shocked isn't even the word for how I felt. Plus any time they have a "family" event, they have no class for special Ed students available. They say everyone is welcomed but this sure doesn't feel very welcoming.

I was welcomed here from day one! They follow the true doctrine and context of the Bible. The pastor will not lie to you and nor should he. If you choose to stay in the darkness then in the darkness you shall stay for eternity!
