Cici is a receptionist at the hospital and is extremely rude. I called to get updates because they charge $300 extra in addition to the $300 x-rays for a radiologist to look at because they don’t have one in the building. She was extremely unprofessional when I asked why it’s been 3 days and I haven’t received information on the X-rays . She repeatedly cut me off, said I was yelling, I changed my tone to appease her, she continued to talk over me and said she could send me the X-rays directly if I wanted. I paid for a consultant and it’s a very condescending comment, knowing I can’t read X-rays or I wouldn’t have paid extra. Very expensive and not worth it for the way they talk to you. I will not be taking my 3 dogs and cat here anymore. Find a different vet that has a radiologist in the building because this is how they steal money from their clients. Also, just find a vet that cares about your animal, here they couldn’t care less.

Incompetent staff and vet. They removed the wrong tooth on my dog and now want to charge me for the same surgery to remove the tooth they were supposed to remove the first time. They want me to pay $1400 for their mistake. Do not trust this vet, they so not want to help your pet, they want your money.

Staff was great, helped us get a same-day appt. Dr Hall was awesome. She did a really thorough exam on our cat and is more into education than ordering tests/exams when not needed. We will definitely be coming back!

If you need a vet quickly or same day, these guys are great. You will pay a premium though. Expect to pay about 3x what other vets in the area might charge. Example: x rays here are $600. Same X rays at another vet in Fresno were $219. Routine vaccinations were around $150 here, at another vet, $60. There is a valid place for being able to get into a vet quickly and pay a premium if you need that. For routine vet appointments you will save a lot of money going somewhere else. I've had only positive experiences with the doctors and staff.

Love this vet. The nurses really care and the vet is very gentle. Our dogs, fur babies, are anxious every time they go in, but once they are in the room they love the vet staff.

We took our Angel in today. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and Dr. Grey! So caring, thorough and her explanation of all of our options precedes all of our experiences at other vets we have gone to in the area. Thank you so much for treating your patients with such care and warmth!

This facility does not deserve one star. It is a money hungry facility. The office staff and manager have zero concern for the actual animals. I take both of my cats here and have taken them here for several appointments including the euthanization of a previously ill cat. I was prescribed medication approximately 1.5 months ago for my current cat who has a parasite. The medication routine is on a stringent schedule. With my availability, I was just now able to start the medication knowing the time I need to administer it properly. However, when giving the second dose, I accidentally knocked the bottle over. I called and explained what happened and was told I can pick up a medication replacement same day. When I got to the office I was denied a "refill" and was told I had to make an annual exam appointment in order to get more. I explained again, it was not a refill but a replacement as I had yet to give my cat the medicine. I was repeatedly questioned why it took me so long to give the medication, that in fact, has no soon expiration date and is not at the office staffs' discretion when i'm able to give the medication. I was again denied the "refill" and was told I shouldn't have waited. I explained that my cat just also recently in the last 1 month received 5 vaccines from them and didn't walk for 4 days so in no way was I going to start the medication then either, and continue to traumatize her. After asking to speak with the veterinarian twice, the office manager kept insisting this was "office policy". My cat has diarrhea from a persistent parasite she has had since she was a stray baby kitten. We were told it was likely she would need two rounds of the mediation to kick most of it out but the parasite could reoccur if lingering egg sacks in her belly ever hatched. This was by the "new vet" that they made me pay a "New visit" appointment fee during my pervious visit because they got a new doctor. Although my cats are current patients and that's now my problem..not sure? Moving on.... The manager told me since your cat is still having symptoms were not sure its the parasite. I'm unsure how that can be seeing I took a stool sample in, paid for it to be processed, had to GO INTO the office to get the results (of course that was a fee too) and be told she has a parasite. Of course she still has the same thing.... seeing how she hasn't received all the medication yet. The office manager with no remorse kept repeating "its office policy". I asked why do I need to pay an annual "cat exam" to bring her in (when she was in the office 3 times in the last 45 days) and be asked "does she still have diarrhea" say "yes" to get the meds they already prescribed to me. The entire office looks as though they could care less about their job and their actions really solidify that. This was the worst experience and they will loose my business along with the business of several family members.... due to a $13 med replacement because they were determine to squeeze any more money they could out my pocket.
Lets not even get into the hair matted on my other cat after she received vaccines due to carless administration. She had leaking medicine and blood that knotted her hair in several places which required it to be shaved there. If someone other than your useless office manager reads this....feel free to contact me

Brought my dog Luna in for teeth cleaning. We didn't receive pre-op or post op instructions. I was a little bothered by that. Any how, morning of treatment, when I arrived most of the staff looked over-worked, hungover or not mentally there...wasn't quite sure which. Staff member took my dog back for treatment. After treatment I went back to "family" pet hospital, Clovis. I received an invoice with another surprise charge, what else is new! I took my Luna home. A couple of hours later she was whining and licking her arm. I checked her arm and found that "family" pet hospital of Clovis, had left IV port in her arm!! Yes you read that right. Staff or Dr left IV port in her arm! After a conversation with them on the phone to describe this substandard, unprofessional treatment, I was hung up on. Looks like No Accountability from "family" pet hospital in Clovis! Most of the Staff sucks at their job! Would never recommend them. Substandard care, zero accountability and personalities to steer clear of!

I’ve been coming here for my two cats for years. My best friend adopted a pregnant cat 2 weeks ago and Trina was so sweet in providing information and easing our anxiety in the delivery. Very compassionate and helpful team!

I took my little girl Lizzy to Family Pet Hospital because of a concern I had regarding an abscess...they were able to diagnose her very quickly, take of her and prescribe antibiotics...my only issue is that I was told that what was given may not be enough and that I would need to get more. Well, they were right...she still has 3 1/2 days to go before she is done with her medication, and I will have to buy more. Maybe I should have asked for the additional bottle, or maybe they should have just added it to what was already being given to me.
