Do not shop here of you have any toddlers!!
Apparently the middle age white guy cashier dont like kids. My 3 year old toddler was doing what a toddler do talk loud. She wasn't screaming or running around. As i finish packing my things my husband took off with my toddler. As I passed him I overheard him saying to the customer behind me. He hates hearing kids scream all day. And the customer said she understands she has to deal with it all day. My toddler was talking loudly to me NOT screaming!! Maybe you shouldnt work in public if you have a problem!! Well I'm sorry, I didn't know this was a no kid world. Keep your kids indoor. Nobody told me that. I dont shop here often but I see why they hardly have customers. Rude employee. I should've yelled at them but I was too stunned. I told my husband immediately!!!

Always understaff but understandable as you can see sometimes they're slow. I can get almost everything i need here including my Asian and Mexican needs for an American chain supermarket.

I always go to foodmax. That is my go to store but today when I went cashier name Anna was really rude to me. First of all when I was at the register she never asked me if I needed the bags. Right after she was done I asked for 2 bags but she got upset and told me I should’ve asked for it when she was ringing up my groceries. If she had asked me before she was ringing up, I could’ve said yes. All the other cashiers are vary welcoming towards the customer but she had an attitude from the beginning. It was the tone of her voice that upset me. And I even apologized to her that I was sorry if didn’t asked for the bags but I told her if you asked me from the beginning It would’ve been ok . I think she wasn’t happy what she was doing. I never see her doing the register.

Honestly, I rarely shop here unless I have the pickup in order for doordash.. everything is just too expensive.. honestly, it's made for people that have money.. So if you have it, enjoy it here..

My dad and brother got into an argument with two cashiers. My brother bought Mother’s Day flowers and stood in the front where the only two cashiers on register could see him. He checked out already and was waiting for us. My brother stood there for awhile before deciding to also buy a card so he got back in line after standing in sight for nearly 10 minutes. We got in line for our separate items. My brother paid first for the card then the cashier Jose asked about the flowers and he said he already paid. Mind you my brother is SPECIAL NEEDS. Jose then paused and proceeded to ask if he went to the other cashier or what. He said yes and my dad stepped in and told him to show the receipt. Jose was very hostile. My dad stood up for my brother and said of course he paid. My dad paid for his stuff then I paid for mine. Obviously my dad is going to wait for his daughter before he leaves. The younger Mexican cashier next to Jose began pressing an issue with my 58 year old dad. He said “you waiting for your boy?” My brother is not a child. He assumed my dad was trying to fight but he wasn’t. He was talking like he was kicking us out. My dad said “you’re like security guards.” The younger man said “only when we have to be.” Like he’s getting into it with my dad over his coworkers, Jose’s, mistake. My brother obviously didn’t steal and the younger cashier should’ve said he did pay instead of furthering the problem. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional people. How embarrassing for the store. We have lived in the area for years and have been to this store hundreds of times and seen Jose as cashier and he decided to be a complete jerk to my family who was innocently buying mothers day stuff for my mom. Why would my brother steal a single bouquet of flowers and stand in front of the cashier in a bright yellow shirt for almost 10 minutes with stolen flowers. He paid. The young guy on register next to Jose that rang up my brother is at fault too a hundred percent. I can’t believe this happened. This was on Saturday 5/10 at around 8pm.

Always liked this store. Savemart quality produce, not savemart prices. I appreciate the cultural food isles. Wish there was a vegan, dairy free focus. Even if just a few options.
