Great selection but know what you need the employees are not always knowledgeable or helpful. Most give you a dirty look when you ask them for help.

I went to Home Depot in Clovis at 8:30 AM And I wanted 12 2 ft.³ of brown wood chips and they worse not to be seen so I asked for Gary because he assist me last time… Gary went out of his way to Check to see if they had come in yesterday and they hatch and he had the key and he met me outback and he loaded them in my car for me… I prepaid in the garden center and most employees would send me to River Park where they had some, but Gary really came through for me again… I will always come back to Home Depot if Gary is there… If you read this review, ask for Gary when you go into the garden center Gary is going to be super busy lol

I got a filter for my push mower the filter exploded I had to take it back and get a full refund thank God I have the receipt it was an employee that suggested or told me I needed to get a certain filter when I asked which filter do I need for my t500 Troy-Bilt lawn mower push mower and I was given the one by the employee who said this is the one you need and it was clearly the wrong one upon it exploding in my lawn mower. Now the customer service line seem to be a large line that was moving slow but there was one particular lady who was just chopping them down and zooming through them and it wasn't that long of a wait at all and I got my refund because I had my receipt and I needed that money for gasoline which turned out to be a good day thank you home Depot

Way too many kids working at the same time. I love hanging out with my adult children, nieces and nephews. But if I, had aarve business I would hire 1 or 2 of them.

It's a home depot so don't expect much help from employees who know what you are talking about or where it is or if there is anybody close by to help you.
The person you are talking to in the isle of the product you need that is locked up rite in front of both of you will have to call someone who is no where near the department they are assigned to.
I have waited over 30 minutes from the time someone was called and while waiting for assistance another customer came down the same isle they showed up about 2 minutes before the employee who was sent over to help me arrived. It was clear they also needed help
A Hispanic female home depot employee began walking down the isle and as I gestured to her indicating I was the one who called for help when the person who arrived after me hollard to her something in spanish and even though I was closer to her and gestured to her she walked rite past me as I tried to let her know I was the one who called for service I said excuse me mam I called for and she cut me off rite there and without even look back she just said I'll be with u in one minute sir and assisted the other person I gracefully kept my composure and allowed her to help the other person first.
she stood there leaning against the shelf laughing, and conversating in Spanish with the other customer while looking at her scanner device for literally 20 more minutes while the tape measure I wanted was sitting less than one foot from where she was I have never felt so disrespected in my life.
So my advise to anyone who goes to a home if you have to be assertive and demand the service these employees are suppose to provide or you will get ignored and treated like u don't matter if I ever experience anything similar to this treatment again I will make it known to the entire department if I have to that it would be in the best interest to serve customers in the order they arrive and I will make sure I am recording before I even enter the store from now on.
If you have no other option and you know where your item is and it's not locked up and you don't need to talk to anyone than home depot can be a good choice to purchase materials for your home improvement needs otherwise you would be able to get what you need faster if you order it online and wait for it to come in the mail.
