Horrible customer service. I came in early, around 0830, without appointment and there were four people in front of me. The lab attendant/employee asked anyone without an appointment to go down the street to the other center because she was the only one there. I said I had already checked it but was willing to wait. She insisted I leave because she had to take lunch at 11 and was the only one there. I didn't want to leave since I was already there, but I didn't want some cranky old lady drawing blood from me either so I left and waited an hour at the other location on Herndon. Poor customer service and rude employees at the Vons store location.

I have used this location for my family a few times now but won't go back again. My young adult child has had a terrible time here the past two times they needed blood drawn and urin analysis. On one occasion their grandmother, a retired nurse, took them in as a walk-in. The website and phone message stated that appointments were strongly recommended but that they do take walk-ins but appointments are prioritized which is fine, as this test really needed to be done that day in order to be ready for the doctor's appointment available the following week for ongoing progressive health issues. So they went in , in the early afternoon with only one other patron in the office and the phlebotomist refused service, was very rude and said appointments were required. I had to take them to get blood and have another urine test yesterday for an appointment next week and we made an appointment and were 5 min. late due to dizziness my child was experiencing as well as traffic and when we got there no one was in the office. The computer sign in was covered with a "break time" clock that was not set to a proper return time. It said 9:15 and it was 1:45 with our appointment time at 1:40. She didn't return for 25 min., Said she waited for us but we were late so she took her break. We said that's fine- no one else is here- we will just do a "walk-in". She at first tried to get us to make another appointment. We said we would wait if needed and if another appointment comes wait for that too, we still need the tests done. She was extremely rude and said they had other appointments and get walk-ins all the time so snapped at me for saying, "there is no one else here". She took her time getting ready so her break turned into a 40 min. break when she finally called my child back. Two other people came in, one a walk-n and the other had an appointment but not until 3:00 PM. She helped and spoke to them while my child was left in back waiting. She then finally sent my child in for the urine test and then took my kid's blood, who by the way has an anxiety disorder and is afraid of needles, and she painfully poked them with the needle, took the blood and literally ripped the needle out of their arm causing them to bleed through two cotton balls. We had tho change the cotton with another bandaid as soon as we got to the car as it had bled through again almost sending my kid into a panic attack. Their arm is still very bruised today and is painful. I was shocked with how bad this person's service was and then not surprised to see their site only has 2 stars. We came here for the convinced of the location in Vons thinking it may be less busy than other sites which it usually is, but the bad service is not worth it if this person is on the job! We will be going to the other Quest further down Herndon closer to Armstrong and Clovis Commuity from now on no matter how long the wait is! The young lady who attended to my 5 year old daughter on 1-24-24 was so nice to my child. My daughter was really scared and she had a great way of handling it. As well I didn't have all the information I needed for the appointment and she was great at telling me what I can do and supper patient so every thing got done and I was not rushed thank you! It was awsome! Even though I was there so my 5 year old can get blood drawn and I walked in stressed because I left my purse at home with all our information that we needed there was alot of laughing! Plus the place is clean, easy check in and for her being the only one there and a few others waiting the time spent waiting was very short!

I just got a reminder of my appointment tomorrow at 8. I have never had a problem getting into this Quest, They are always kind and compassionate to the need of getting blood tested and sent out. I’m always there 10 min early like requested to, I scan my code sent to me, I’m usually in and out with in 10 min…. Always friendly and efficient!!!I will share my experience again tomorrow after my appointment…. Make an appointment and you’ll have no problems..

This place is a waste of time and rude always only have one girl working.. ??? Then even if your there waiting they will take appointments first and are rude and will tell you that to go to other one down the street very unprofessional ...last time my husband went the girl left a huge hematoma on his arm it was there for a week .. I feel like people make up there own rules every single day there ..

I had the worst service from Jasmine today. Because I came in without an appointment at 347pm. Sh had a horrible attitude and was ready to get off at 4. After the drama with Insurance information she actually had the nerve to tell me my labs weren’t urgent and she doesn’t have to serve me today. I replied with “not urgent, they actually are a hemoglobin of 4.7 and iron at 6 and I have kidney failure and a fever of 104.0”. If they weren’t urgent I wouldn’t have came in today. As my Dr requested labs asap or of course they wanted ER. I have never had such horrible service in a healthcare setting. Argued with me like a teenager for 15 min. Come on we need to get better healthcare workers with compassion.

I had an appointment for a vaccine appointment at 12:15, came early, and checked in. The phlebotomist ignored all patients waiting and when my name was called, told me that I needed to go to the pharmacy next door instead. There was no sign informing the patients of this. I suggested it and the phlebotomist argued with me instead, saying that there was a sign outside the store that patients should go to the pharmacy instead. There was not. After I checked in at the pharmacy, they told me to go back to the Quest lab and wait for the pharmacist to give the vaccine in the lab. I ended up getting the vaccine at around 12:50 even though I had an appointment for 12:15. It was not a good experience.

Walk ins after 1230. Love that I was able to get in & out in literally 5 minutes. Jasmine was the best!

You make an appointment. Show up on time, and you’re done in 15 minutes. I’ve been to this location a few times and it’s always quick. They are also very nice people working there.

I would like to give no stars however then I couldn’t write my review. We had an appointment at 12:00pm and so we came in about 15 minutes earlier. Another young lady came about 5 minutes after us and she went up to the pharmacist and informed them that she was there for quest. He went ahead and let her in the waiting room and then when I informed him we were here for quest and have an appointment he said I can’t let you sit in here and wait until after 12:00 when there back from lunch. I asked him why we couldn’t sit and wait and why the other young lady was able to go in and sit. He shut the door in my face and went back to the pharmacy counter. So we waited the remaining time u til they opened. However I feel this was discrimination and will not be coming back to this location ever again. I’ve been a quest patient for over 12 years and this was by far the worst experience ever.
