Schmidt's Leather & Iron Works is owned by Glenn Schmidt, of Clovis, CA. Glenn can proudly say that he is a craftsman who specializes in repair work and custom-made and designed saddles, tack, and accessories. Glenn understands that each individual has unique needs that need to be met, whether it's through the design of a bit made especially for a horse with dental issues, or a saddle that appeals directly to your own unique sense of style and needs on the ranch. Factory made, mass produced tack are designed only to meet the needs of the average rider. You and I both know there is no such thing as the "average" rider, or the "average" horse. It’s hard to find craftsmanship like this. Glenn is so talented at what he does and has worked on a few of our saddles and will will be customers forever. Highly recommend.
