Shell is a convenient stop for travelers in Southern California, offering a range of services and amenities. It features a C-Store, ATM, and food offerings, including a restaurant that serves barbecue. Customers appreciate the 24-hour availability, making it easy to refuel and recharge at any time. The fuel options include Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines and diesel. While many reviews highlight the quality of the barbecue, some diners have expressed disappointment with certain menu items, noting that some dishes, like the tritip taco salad and brisket, could use more flavor and better dressings. Customers recommend visiting during busy lunch hours for the freshest food. The location is also convenient for Tesla charging and provides a clean restroom for travelers. Additionally, the customer service is commendable, with staff members going above and beyond to help, such as returning lost items. Overall, Shell is a reliable pit stop for food, fuel, and convenience for those on the road.
Don't but the pre packaged Harris ranch beef jerky. It tastes just as bad as every other factory made jerky loaded with preservatives. Far cry from the delicious fresh jerky the used to sell here.

For a rest area it’s decently nice and active. The convenience store was very crowded and way too small for the amount of people there. The price for anything in there (and anywhere) reminds me of “the fleecing of America”.

Thankful for free air pump - my car threw a low tire pressure warning at me (was a temp glitch) and I stopped here to check for any tire issues and stretch - good bathroom and big pump site adjacent to Harris Ranch
