Wow! Where to start since I can't give negative stars. Knowing that our drive was going to be 5-7 hours, we wanted to pick a place that was close to Yosemite, but not so close that you were paying for it through the nose. We looked around some online to find a nice place to land. when we arrived oh my gosh, not even like the pictures. Complete misrepresentation on the website. There were numerous pictures of pine trees, green pine trees covering into the distance... There were no pine trees anywhere near there. The property is covered with oak and scrub oak and dead grasses everywhere. This was on a trip in late October. we paid close to $580 to be there for four nights. Tree, branches and bush branches sticking out just far enough to scratch the sides of your unit if you're not very careful. Many full-time residents there, with junk out in their front "yard" area. Motorcycle being worked on, junk stored all over the place. It was like pulling into a trailer park and setting up camp.Very disappointing. We usually at the end of our day like to sit out in our chairs and drink coffee but we just stayed in our trailer. there truly was no view. Book closer to the park entrance and pay the price. Make sure that you book early so that you can get a good RV park.Happy camping!

My family stayed here for the entire month of September. We loved it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The pool is very clean, my kids used it almost daily. The park area is also great. The restrooms, showers, and laundromat are all clean and well taken care of. The RV sites are easy to back into and we had plenty of space. It was mostly quiet, labor day weekend did get loud but it was all in good fun.The park is in a good location, not far from Yosemite. We'd stay there again!

Very family friendly with nice facilities and amenities including a pool, game room/lounge, fire pit, and play ground. Really quiet with spacious sites. Highly recommend.

We stayed here a few years ago and loved it. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. People come here and crank their radios and let their children run around unattended. They need to have strict rules and enforce them like good campsites do. For over $100 per day for camping there needs to be some changes. We won’t be back again…

Very misleading location details and naming convention AND worse was the cleanliness of the bathrooms and trash area. The location was over 1 1/2 hours to the falls off Yosemite... This is not very near Yosemite as the name implies.I called ahead to verify high speed Internet as was advertised on their site. I was assured that it would support video calls and it was barely enough to check the weather. Fortunately, I had a T-mobile hotspot to almost get me through my appointments. And, lastly the worst were the bathrooms and adjacent trash area. The trash was overflowing and the area was disgusting... Not cleaned in weeks/months. Trash was emptied later in the week.Bathrooms were dirty the night we arrived but not horrific. We assumed it was just the end of the day; however, the remained uncleaned for the next 5 days with toilets overflowing, same trash on the floor, mud and no soap left in dispenser. Clearly management was not verifying cleaning at any point and the staff didn't like cleaning bathrooms. We also paid over $100 per night to boot. We won't be back and encourage you to find another location where basic cleanliness is remotely important.Noteworthy details: Dirty and poorly maintained.

I'm always puzzled why they call it an RV resort, because the photographs on the web page do NOT even closely reflect what this place is. All the grass is dead and dry so therefore the place is very dusty. We couldn't even take our dog there to the dog park because it was pure dirt. It's very important to note that the South entrance to Yosemite National Park is 20+ mi from this RV resort. However, you still have to drive another 30+ miles more on very narrow mountainous winding roads to Yosemite Valley. So do not get misled thinking you are very close to Yosemite. Make sure you bring the Dramamine if you have issues with car sickness. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the staff on the phone was extremely helpful. It's regrettable that this place is so worn down because with a little bit of tender loving care it could be a really beautiful spot.Noteworthy details: There is a tribal casino and resort 5 miles away. It has easy access for long RVs to fill up with gas and reattach their towed vehicles if need be.

Pull through parking was nice. First thing anyone should know who is thinking about booking this campground is that it is not in Yosemite. This is in Coarsegold, which is about an hour and a half to the "destination Yosemite Places" I just think that is important because of the name of the resort. We personally knew that going in, but everything was booked in Yosemite. That being said the restrooms were nice and clean, which is always a plus. We were able to maneuver our 24-foot RV without a problem. We used this as a halfway point from Mammoth to Big Sur, and it served its purpose. Full hook ups work great, as well as the Wi-Fi. The pool was clean, and the night stars were the best view.

The worst customer service ever! I booked the wrong dates and instead of being professional and letting me change them literally with in an hour of booking which was over a week out they told me there is a no cancellation policy which I didn’t want to cancel just move my dates forward two days they made me book the right dates and pay for the wrong dates!!! So I payed for 8 days stayed 2!! Very unprofessional I came all the way from Florida my wife is an influencer so I will be sure to put the word out stay away from this place much better and nicer establishments near by.

If this place was 70 bucks a night for the deluxe plus, I might rate it higher but when you pay $100+ a night you should get more. The sites are all dirt which in of itself isn't terrible but the layout is not great. The bathrooms aren't well kept and the sewer dump is like 3 or 4 inches off the ground. Even with a sewer hose support, it was impossible to drain my sewer without disconnecting the line every time and elevating it on my own. Aside from the rec room and pool area, there isn't anything nice to write about this place.

I truly believe your happiness/satisfaction with this “resort” is directly related to your site. Some sites have quite a bit of room, while others, like mine, barely fit your rv. Some sites have a table and fire pit (when there is not a fire ban), mine did not have room for these.1. The park either needs better signage or someone leading people to their sites. I saw so many guests driving in circles looking for their site.2. The reservation people need to be cognizant of if the rvs they are putting in the spot can actually leave from the site. More than one site, while intended as a pull through, you can only back out of if you have a larger rv.3. While called Yosemite RV Resort, guests should be aware that it’s almost 2hrs to the main attractions of Yosemite NP.4. While technically big rig friendly, it’s an old park and as such is very tight around trees and other rvs. Something to be aware of with a larger rv.The water pressure, pool, and dog park were nice though.

Great spot to relax. Friendly staff to answer your questions. Really enjoyed our visit. Right off highway in Coarsegold. Thanks, Marshall 7/31/23

Fi would not recommend this place. Terrible WiFi, o believe this place has issues with power. I could only run one AC during the heat of the day . It is not well maintained. I complained to one of the employees about the terrible WIFI and power and he said if you don't like it you can leave. I told him I would gladly leave if you would give me a refund. He told me no refunds. A lot of nicer camp ground for tent and RV's by Bass lake and less expensive.

I was expecting a lot more for what you have to pay for it really was a letdown a resort know it was more like a motel. I really was not impressed at

Although the website said they had free wifi, it was not available for our stay.Otherwise the park was nice enough.Nearby activities: Yosemite was 30 minutes to the south entrance.

We stayed at this campground so that we could visit Yosemite National Park. It's important to know the drive is 40 minutes to the park from the campground. However based on how Yosemite is set up to get to the major areas is closer to a 1.5 hour drive.Overall we were happy with our stay. We were in one of the pull through deluxe sites and did not feel squished in like other campgrounds. The pool was one of the best we have been to in a campground. Our fire ring was missing, but there was a fire ban anyway so we couldn't use it. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there were about 5 piles of dog waste by our site and it was never cleaned up by the pet owner or the campground. Definitely not something we wanted to see constantly. I assume this is not a constant issue there. We would recommend the campground.
