Room had some smell when I entered. No tissues in the bathroom. Kids running in the hallway. Breakfast is just so so. The price is just a little bit high considering the room condition and services.

Rooms: It was ok - adequate. A couple of small issues - missing smoke detector (reported missing but not fixed by the time we left after 2 nights) and shower door had a loose gasket and was a little hard to close and open.
If I needed to stay in Colfax again I would be fine staying there… but be aware that the food options in Colfax are limited… much better access to services like restaurants and shopping available in Auburn.
Also many oversized road many vehicles in parking lot.
Nearby activities: Limited… better options in nearby Auburn.
Walkability: You could walk to nearby fast food like Taco Bell and McDonald’s and a few restaurants.
Noteworthy details: Seemed to have a lot of road maintenance people staying there with oversized vehicles and equipment taking up multiple parking spots.

Motel with a fresh coat of paint. Stains all over couch, bed, and towels. Blood on the wall of the shower and on the towels. Works in a pinch but I’d stay away. Prices they are charging are laughable.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The room was brand new, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service and accommodations.

Dirty rooms, bed bugs and non existing service. The Continental breakfast was mediocre best.
And be sure to check your receipts for added charges. In short not where you want to stay.

The Colfax Best Western Hotel is a new building, but the parking lot and landscaping look unfinished. Rooms are state of the art modern. The breakfast and internet here are great. Front desk staff are competent and courteous. The woman that runs the daily breakfast is exceptional. Yes, she should have a tip jar. Close to HWY 80 and definitely noisy in the evening. Various restaurants and Colfax nearby for food and entertainment.

The manager was really helpful in making sure we had a room when they were sold out even after a few issues with the online booking company,
Awesome breakfast! Omelette bar, oatmeal with Chia seeds, waffles with whipped cream and strawberries. Super clean rooms spacious, comfortable beds and pillows. Nice pool area, clean laundry facilities. Awesome little encouraging notes in the room. The best Best Western I've ever stayed at.

Recently we had family from Australia visit and were glad the Best Western was here in Colfax.
First impressions were good. Reception area clean and welcoming.
Get to the pool and it is dirty with floating debris and cigarette butts everywhere.
Asked staff for more towels. Given 2 and then an eye roll from staff when asked for a third, as there were 3 guests. Also requested more toilet rolls to be told they had none!
Breakfast - out of coffee and milk every day. At least have some coffee to start the day.
Needless to say we will never use this motel again and will not recommend it to anyone.

We came here due to a family emergency and the staff were completely understanding and relaxed about the noise late at night and a lot of people coming and going. I’ve never experienced this type of hospitality at a hotel so for that they definitely deserve 5*

Really nice place to stay. The building is about two and half years old (as of 12JUN24). It is pet friendly, it is quiet, the hotel has a swimming pool. They offer complimentary breakfast. the room was very clean when I checked in. Customer service can definitely improve. I mean, I was in the hotel to rest regardless of the customer service skills the personnel had at the time of my stay. The hotel staff do not wear uniforms which, through me, off. I couldn't tell if they were guests or workers until I saw them providing a service. I would stay here again.
Rooms: Clean , comfortable bed, working TV, has hair dryer, ironing board, of course , an iron. There is plenty of space to unpack your bags, and a nice shower see-through sliding doors.
Safety: There is plenty of parking and very safe. Safe to enter and leave at any time.
Walkability: There was a marketplace /mall within five minutes of walking distance.
