Well beyond the 5 stars offered. The place is immaculately clean and organized, with proper, helpful signage allowing quick and efficient access. Prices are the best in the area, as well as the attentive, “can do” friendly, customer oriented experience as offered by the employees. Security is top notch. They keep a watchful eye out , and I have no concerns whatsoever with leaving sensitive data and expensive equipment in my storage locker. It’s the cleanest storage facility I have ever seen, by a long shot. Don’t even bother checking out another facility. Colfax Mini Storage does it right the first time. I’m stardust, so I know what I’m talking about when I make my claim that 5 stars in not enough. Nobody likes moving stuff around, but the welcoming friendly atmosphere and over the top order and cleanliness makes a dull task pleasurable, Supernova!! Thank you, Jill!~Leonard

5 stars isn't enough to rate this place. Staff went above and beyond to help with everything I needed. Everything was easy and smooth! They helped me find a U-haul at a location nearby once they had none available at the time, and gave me a ride to the other U-haul spot. Extreme kindness and willingness to help. Can't thank them enough for all the help, and for making my day and logistics so much easier.

I’m not one for sharing my opinion unless it’s about an very specific issue that needs addressing or someone may be injured due to negligence, however I got a notification that Colfax Mini storage wanted my opinion and if it wasn’t for the Lady “ Jill “ I’m guessing that she’s the official Manager due to the fact that I haven’t rented a storage unit where the process was so seamless that she obviously wasn’t new to the business!! I just wanted to make sure that whomever is at the Corporate level knows that they have a great customer oriented approach manager taking care of their property here in Colfax, CA

Jill made the experience at this facility smooth easy and simple. Not only that she made it apparent that me as a customer are valued and respected by this facility by going above and beyond offering help, cold waters, and even donuts. Extremely friendly person and made the entire experience effortlessly easy. Because of Jill I wouldn’t want too spend my money anywhere else and in fact would even stay if there happened to be price increases 100% solely due too the service I was provided by Jill. Five stars or more service from the experience with Jill highly highly recommend to anyone in placer county looking for a storage facility call and talk too Jill she is god sent.

Do not believe ANYTHING these people tell you. This business is the biggest scam I have ever seen. My husband and I have been lied to over and over and over - about our unit AND our deceased relative’s unit. They told us we couldn’t pay for our deceased relative’s unit while we dealt with all the required probate issues - and promised not to sell her unit while probate was handled (and we promised to make them whole on that unit after probate). Then they slated it to be sold. They also tried to block our ability to pay for our unit - but had to back pedal when I told them I was recording their calls and sending them written documentation that would also be sent to our attorney. Do not ever do business with these people. You will regret it.

Unfortunately, we have new managers. A young couple who are a bit too gung-ho and taking their job a bit too seriously. The last manager was great. Will see if the new ones can get off the power trip and fit into the community.

Sometimes in life things happen out of our control. It can be unpredictable and scary. I was at my wits ends. That’s when I went to colfax mini storage and met Jill. She took care of EVERYTHING for me from the very beginning to the end and made sure that there was nothing left for me to worry about. It took a total of 30 minutes in and out. I was able to move my belongings in smoothly to a beautiful place were I felt safe leaving it all and was assured there was onsite management as well. Thank you Jill for saving the Day! Hands down 5 *****’s!

The Colfax mini storage is amazing! The staff went above and beyond to welcome me staying later than closing and giving me the best deal! I feel very safe going to the storage as there is a gate with a key code and it is so clean. If there was an option for more than 5 stars they would get it! My family and I are going through a hard time and trying to move right now and they made this process so much easier for us. Not to mention such an easy location right off the freeway

I needed a u-haul truck and storage right away. I made several calls and they were either too expensive or there were no units available right away. Then I called Jill at Colfax Mini Storage. She found me a truck and had me in a unit within the hour, and she gave
me the first two months half off! Thanks Jill.

The employee I contacted at the Mini storage was Rick and he was top Notch.
Rick was very polite, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.. I would recommend colfax Mini storage to.anybody thats looking for a safe, secure storage unit and at a greate price. RICK is a great asset to the company. I had a great experience.

I've been storing all of my family's things at Colfax Mini Storage for the last two years while we've been looking for a house. We moved out this weekend after finding ourselves a new place to live! Moving out was seamless, and Rick was great during the whole process. Our unit was clean, and I felt like all our things were safe the whole time we kept them there. The gate access times are super convenient for my schedule and there's plenty of room to fit big moving trucks up to the units. Great place to keep your stuff!

Rick is an amazing manager. So personable and helpful. My partner and I were moving cross country and he was able to find us a unit to store our things so fast and painlessly. And when it was time for us to move, he helped us maneuver our 26ft truck effortlessly. Fantastic and recommend

If you are looking for a safe place to put your things with kind folks, this is the place to go! They have reasonable rates too! The staff is just so kind and helpful, worth the extra drive if you don’t live in this town, which is just full of kind, honest people too.
