“Short and to the point: if you're on the greyhound heading to Reno you're going to stop here. To be frank it's overpriced so bring your wallet!! I read on the register they accept EBT and all forms of payment for what that's worth. They have a massive selection of differ meat jerky and random snack options to grab and go. The workers here are pleasant and helpful. Overall your run of the mill over priced convenience store that has what you need in a crunch.”
“Their frozen gnocchis, raviolis, tiramisu, and dinners are so excellent. And literally every item on their shelves is excellently chosen. We visited this store weekly when we lived in GV. Now it’s a must-stop place every time we visit.”
“The employees 3 of 5. Would have 5 stars if there methods of payment were suited for all. But they only accept debit and also do not accept EBT. Which I fine if it wasn't the only convent store in the neighborhood.”
“We needed a couple special pony kegs for our wedding near Nevada City recently. We called around and other places didn’t seem motivated to make it happen for us. Not so with the good people at Long’s Bottle Shop. Start to finish they were fantastic, we are grateful for their amazing customer service and ability to procure a special order quickly. Thanks Long’s!!??”
“This place is my kind of heaven. Whenever I speak to people about cocktails or interesting drinks I can't help but direct them here. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and eager to help with any questions. It's just the PERFECT one stop shop... THANK GUYS@ The Bottle Shop!”
“What a fun place to wine taste!!! Dana and Eric are very welcoming and always have interesting wines to taste. Prices are very reasonable and selection is great.”
“Best little store in a quiet little town. Has a little bit of everything you might need while in the area camping or locals needing a quick trip to the store. Highly recommend stopping in.”
“Phenomenal selection of excellent wine from all over the world. You probably won’t recognize everything you see, but I don’t think there is a bad bottle in the house. This is a world-class wine shop in a small town. The owner, John, is always there, has excellent taste, and will happily guide you to a perfect selection. Take advantage of this resource.”
“The alta sierra market is an excellent store in a small town location. You can find a big selection here, especially given how of the beaten path it is. The staff are friendly and the store is clean. What else could someone ask for?”
“It is expensive (hint: much less expensive if you download their app and look for savings there) but they have a good selection of anything you might need. The store is always clean. Lines for cashiers can be frustratingly long at times.”
“If you haven’t stopped in for breakfast/lunch
You’re missing out. They have the best biscuits and gravy with bacon. I love the deviled eggs and macaroni salad too. Good stuff.”
