The service and knowledge of the parts were both impressive. Customer service was great. Fixed issues caused by previous mechanics on my vehicle. Honest and up front.

Very grateful for this shop! My bf and I were on the freeway to LA when we ran something over that caused a panel to come loose under our car. We were thankfully just a few minutes away from Ray's. I gave them a call, and they answered right away and told us to come in. Tony and his team took it from there, and we were back on the road again in about 30 minutes. Their service was friendly and professional, and the price was great, too. Would definitely recommend them for any auto service needs.

I can't believe I've never done a review for Rays. My family has been going to Tony 20 plus years for auto service. Reasonable, trustworthy describes this shop. I always recommend this place and rarely go elsewhere.

VERY EXPENSIVE$300 for a brake job with my own brakes.Definitely don’t wanna know how much it would be if i didn’t have them.Plus the rotor machine is extra $25 not sure if that’s total or per axle.

I took my car to rays auto service because I had some frount end work I need done, So called them and ask do you do that kind of work and he said He did . So I took them my car and walk home 90+heat over 2 mi.(I am 65 With c.o.p.d.) got back to my house and ray called he told me that my car could not be fixed. So now I can't believe it. Don't have a nother car and no money to by one . He told me e that this bad that was bad , Will git it home I look at some videos, Now I am no mechanic not even a backyard one, but for less then $100 I fix my car my self ! Now I believe he just wanted the $85'he took. Now I am not saying they are not good mechanic, but want I am saying I don't think they can be trusted do you want to leave your car with someyou can't trust I know I can't.

I would not recommend this place. They never have time to work vehicles especially when they are not busy. Constantly making excuses

Tony at Ray's Auto Service is amazing. He always gives you a quote up front based on the work he is going to be doing so you know exactly what you will be paying when you pick up your vehicle. If he finds that if you need something he always calls you so you can approve the work.

I've been going to Tony at Rays auto services for 14 years. He takes care of my mom's nissan mini van, my aunt's Toyota compact car and my 20 year old Ford F-150. Tony is honest and upfront. He has never done anything to make me question his opinion or diagnosis. He will give you an estimate before any work starts. And will always call you if he finds any extenuating circumstances. In today's world it's great to find an honest professional man with expert mechanics who usually take one day for most repairs. I highly recommend Rays Auto Service in Colton CA for all your vehicle repairs. Loyal customer since 2008.

Looked to me like they overcharged for a part. On the invoice, the part number was listed (which is a good thing imo, but bad for them if they're planning on overcharging), so I looked up the part and saw that it costed $20-$35 depending on the store. They charged over $80 for it. When I asked the guy about it, he said it was because they get quality parts (which again I'm all for) but when not a single place offers it for more than $35, I'm a little sus. Then he started talking about getting/shipping the part there quickly (they had the car for about 4 hours), but that didn't make sense to me at all as to why that would more than double the price. It just sounded like a bunch of BS to me. Note, my wife went in there alone with the car while I was at work and I have a feeling they just saw it as an opportunity to take advantage of someone.
