Been to Messicks several times while doing a project at a family home in Colusa. Overheard one of their employees talking about particle physics, and he knew his material. THIS is the place I want to be shopping - always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and local. just wish they would expand their open hours. 6 stars for this hidden gem!

Their garden stuff is great we have 2 garden lamps some of the pointers broke and the top of the thing is on the side of the panel is a little broken but later it doesn't charge anymore because when u put ure hand above you can check if it's good or bad touch the panel when it's light ?? if not wait or move to a spot where the sun shines on it .:) . they have paint rodent sprays insects sprays and yes .

These people went behind my back and relit my 93 year old mother's gas stove. We had them turn it off for safety purposes and explained the reasons why and they assured us that if she called to get it back on they wouldn't. Well they did and then DENIED they did. Neighbors seen truck in drive way. I guess the rumors I heard about the owner are right very arrogant! I had to give them one star because it makes you.

Kinda felt pushed out, will not go back, while trying to simply look around i was fallowed by a sun burnt face man that literally told me they had nothing available... A hardware store with nothing available is no hardware store, i drove to the nearest lowes and found everything i needed, there went a $1000+ sale out the door
