Class sizes are small and teachers work with students who need to be challenged more and with those who are lagging behind. Teachers and Administrators welcome and highly encourage parent involvement in their students' academic life.
OLL is a Catholic faith based school, but do accept students regardless of which faith your family practices. Our family is not Catholic but yet the teachers took time to review the Religion Curriculum each school year with me so that I might be able to offer similar teaching of our own faith at home.
The school offers a tuition reduction program where you can earn tuition reduction credits through volunteer and fundraising hours. There is also a Tuition Scholarship program for those who need financial assistance. Very rarely is any student application turned down based on financial need. The school Principal, Mrs. Genera, is always happy to to talk to parents about how to make OLL financially feasible for your family.
OLL offers girls and boys sports programs for 5th - 8th grades. Girls teams compete in volleyball and basketball. Boys teams compete in flag-football and basketball. Other sports like soccer and baseball could be added if there is a qualified person willing to coach and if there is enough interest from students.”
