I was reading some of the older reviews here and noticed that, between three and seven years ago, there were complaints about poor customer service. I’m not sure how long Jerald has been working at Cal-Royal, but my experience with him was excellent. He was very responsive and professional throughout the process.
I didn’t have all the paperwork or a receipt for my 10-year-old door closer. When I mentioned that it seemed unreasonable to expect a receipt for a product with a lifetime warranty clearly branded with their name, Jerald initially disagreed but was open to understanding my perspective. He promised to check with management, and true to his word, he followed up with me. Jerald let me know they would honor the warranty, and I could come by to pick up the replacement.
When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Jerald and his team, Angel and Chester. They turned what started as a potentially frustrating interaction into a much-needed reminder of what excellent, old-fashioned customer service looks like.
As a handyman, I occasionally need to replace products like these for my clients. It’s reassuring to know that I can rely on Cal-Royal to answer my questions, take my calls, and stand by their warranties. Thank you, Jerald, and the entire Cal-Royal team, for your professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction!

I recently called for technical support and Jerald responded to me. He was extremely respectful, helpful and accommodating. I rarely experience such a follow up and customer service. When I got there Chester and Jerald greeted me and they both extended the same level of service. They are both a huge asset to the team in this company. Knowledgeable, precise and consistent and fast. Five star all the way! Thank you again!

Jerald is the best!!! 10 of 10 amazing customer service and technical support, I have been to Cal-royal for more than 8 years, I remember him in the WILL CALL the best of person to talk, very knowledgeable and he knows what is he doing. This is guy is equivalent to 10 peoples in Cal-royal, Congratulations Bernie and Chester, he is gem in the box, hard to find and such an asset to the team.

If you’re looking for a job, and looking for a growing company. This is not it, look for something else. HR doesn’t even have a degree and does not know what Human Resources is for. Upper management sucks

Cal-Royal has great customer service. I was looking to replace a broken lever at my store and I called them. Anna was very helpful since the first time we spoke, she was able to set me up with a technician (Chester) who was very helpful. Together we were able to identify the part and they set me up with the part. The next day, I had the part and my door is working perfectly now. Both Anna and Chester were a pleasure to work with. GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

The absolute worst service ever. There has not been one single time that we came to pick up an order that we have had to wait at least an hour and sometimes are told to come back.

Have been bulk purchasing Hinges for years and have never had a problem. Good service, and they always have the products I need. The most I have waited at Will-call is 10-15 minutes.

Cheap hardware that is decent quality. The thing that really drags this company down is their will call. You can often expect to wait for hours. Absolutely horrible,. Here I am, almost 3 hrs waiting for an order, prepare accordingly.

Zero stars, out of 8 locks purchased 5 were defective within few months, and 2 locks were defective right out of the box. Cal royal DOES NOT warranty any of their products. They requested me to provide copies of their invoices to the vendor, not my receipts. DO NOT EVER BUY Cal Royal products, NEVER. It looks like their customer service is trained NOT TO PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT whatsoever.

We're been customer for 7 years, just like to share our experience lately in Cal-royal. This is our 4th time picking up items, I thought my driver is making excuses for taking so long in Cal-royal but, when i come to see for my self he is right! it takes two hours to get my 2 exit device and 1 box of hinge. We don't have any problems like this since 2019, the Will-Call is always unattended. The person in charge don't know to how speak English he cant even explain what happened to my paperwork and what item I shown to him. I would give negative ratings if i could. I will recommend taking Jerald for items and Chester for technical support in will call which he always answer our concern. If you have small orders ask them to ship it for you! is much faster don't waste your time waiting 2-3 hours
