Today was my first time EVER in a Aldi store. And I was impressed the store was neat and clean. Everything looked really nice. Now the only problem I had things were kind of pricey. But hell what store isn't pricey these days. Even the 99cent store is pricey..lol. but I likes it and I will be coming back to shop. I just came to get hot dog buns and a loaf of bread. Definitely coming back

This is my first stop for food. They don't carry everything, however, the produce is always fresh with a good selection. Fresh bread, large selection of cheeses, cold cuts, dips, etc. Decent selection of meats and chicken and some fish. Several aisles of popular products, dairy, and frozen food. But the prices cannot be beat!

Today as I was cooking the rest of the chiken I had and found this white mold what a disappointment they don’t even have a way to contact them through phone you have to go in the website

ALWAYS BRING YOUR GROCERY BAG(S).
Or you’ll have to double up on the paper bags, b/c they don’t handle a lot of weight.
This place doesn’t offer curbside pick-up.

Customer service at this Aldi is seriously going downhill, and I’m clearly not the only one who’s noticed. (Derrick), in particular, has a horrible attitude. I asked him a simple question about where to find marinade, and instead of just answering like any decent employee would, he acted like I was a huge inconvenience. No eye contact, no effort—just straight-up dismissive. If helping customers is such a burden, why even work here?
Then at checkout, the cashier—who, by the way, looks like a Temu version of NBA star Cade Cunningham—didn’t offer me a bag. But funny enough, he did offer one to the woman ahead of me. When I asked for a bag, instead of just handing me one like a normal person, he made it a point to tell me I’d have to pay. I shop here all the time, but the way Derrick and this cashier act is making me reconsider. Seeing other reviews call out Derrick just confirms that I’m not alone in this experience. Aldi needs to do better.

Customer service at this store has been declining, and my experience on 01/26 around 6:15 PM was especially disappointing. An older Latino employee with glasses (named Derrick) treated customers very poorly. The store was out of bags, so customers were using boxes for their produce. Instead of handling this situation with care, Derrick dumped the produce onto the conveyor belt without consideration.
He also seemed irritated with customers speaking Spanish, which created a very unwelcoming atmosphere. In the past, other employees have been understanding and kind despite language barriers, but this was not the case here.
Management should consider training staff on proper customer service. Customers in Compton deserve better treatment.
