DO NOT BUY FROM THE SCAMMERS AT COMPTON AUTO CENTER!!!
Don't walk, RUN if you are seriously considering buying from these people. Please read my full review. They buy clean or salvage cars, fix them up for a "cheap" price and make it sound like a great deal until you look at your cars history and realize the mileage is inaccurate and you just paid more than double what it's worth.
I brought a family member who has known Pancho for many years to help me buy my first car. I asked for a 2007 Honda Accord and his son found one with a clean title, ~135k miles, no airbags deployed. They bought it at auction and fixed a few things. It looked great in person and it ran decent. There was a problem with the steering wheel while I was driving it, but they promised they'd fix that right away.
Everything was going great until I said I wanted to see the carfax before buying it right then, and I am so glad I did. They rolled back the odometer TWICE on the car, both times to around 125k. The real miles added up to a total of 211k miles. I was shocked and showed everyone, including Pancho. They bought the car KNOWING IT WAS NOT ACCURATE (it was listed as "not actual" in auction) and didn't tell me until I found out. I said I still wanted the car, but because of everything I would only offer $3000 on the spot. I said I wanted to take it to another mechanic first and then I'd later send an oil sample to Blackstone Labs. They offered to find me another one instead.
That night, he called to bring the price from 3400 to 3300, but only if they look for another car for me and I can trade that in once it's done. I agreed right away and they asked for $400 for the registration and a copy of my license. They said they would hold the car for me.
I drove down this morning with the copy and $400 and it turned out that I would owe an extra $200 on the plates because of its past owner. Obviously I wasn't too happy about that, but I was even more upset that they tried making me do their job of driving somewhere to drop off the money for the plates. My uncle arrived shortly to help me out and they told us we would have to wait till later tonight to get the full cost and they would let me know through text so I can stop by again tomorrow to pay it off. We shooks hands on that and not once did they mention a deposit.
Then his 18 year old son, who has been very unprofessional with me, pulled a fast one and told me the car was gone. All because they were embarrassed that a 23 year old woman caught on to their lies and knew what she was doing. These people are very decietful and they don't honor their promises. They love preying on people's trust and I am so thankful I dodged that bullet. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

They put the engine in the 2009 van. I drove it only once before taking it away, because it was emitting white smoke, it was shaking and they turned on the censors. They left the Agua bonba band, limp. He told me that I should change an air-conditioned hose. Because it was broken. Because, I didn't hold it from the beginning, I had to put antifreeze on it. Without having driven more than 20 miles. He said I'll give it to you, and he said I recommend putting it directly, I can put any hose on it. Resistant. For 90 dollars I thought that was a lot for being a Mike mouse job.I FYI and changed the hoses. I came back because there was more smoke coming out. And he says I'll handle it Hot. He also denied the Mike Mouse job he suggested. (Any hose) if it were a lie you wouldn't have told me that for 90 dollars. I only paid 100 for the hoses. Generally dishonest. Please have your rebiso worker take it immediately. If I change the hose, I check the radiator cover. But the other time you see nothing. (but the first time they did connect the device because the check engine was on. Same thing That first time he said. Probably because of the dripping of the air-conditioned hose......implemented irresponsible and dishonesty From the beginning it dripped from the exhaust, and smoke came out, feeling like it was because of the cold and the rain.
