I’ve ordered from them multiple times now, and every arrangement somehow tops the last. The bouquet I picked up this time was absolutely stunning- one of my favorite custom pieces to date. The owner is so thoughtful and helpful when it comes to building something unique. You can really tell she cares about making each order special.
Their shop is super convenient too! Easy to find and with hours that make it possible to swing by even on a busy schedule (most of the times walking my dogs so they’re pet friendly too). It feels great to support a local small business that’s truly passionate about what they do.
Whether you’re looking for something elegant, romantic, or just want to brighten someone’s day, I can’t recommend The Scarlet Flower enough.

“Today was my first time visiting the nursery. I love this place! The staff are kind and knowledgeable. I bought multiple succulents, some regular beautiful plants and a few of their cement and clay pots. The prices are also unbeatable!!! There was plenty of parking and space to walk around with one of their carts. The portable bathrooms were also clean. Can’t wait to come back and thank you for making my time at the nursery peaceful.”

“I always wished to visit rainforest flora for their tillandsia! The type of tillandsia available for purchase is currently limited, but the plants are very cute. (Their larger species/hybrids are even prettier but I don't have enough space to grow them.)”
“I was at a large orange hardware store and wanting to purchase sod, though they had a small 12x12 square for 13 bucks!! I called Avalon Nursery, they can pre-order sod, but they have to have a few pre-orders, which is fine. Sod is expensive and doesn't have a lengthy shelf life. Anyhow, She had another customer who was wanting it, she will have it this weekend. This is a family owned and ran business. So why not make my purchase from a family owned business. I will also be picking up a few trees and citronella bushes. If they don't have it, ask, they might be able to get it. Thank you Avalon Nursery.”

“I wanted a big tree for my back yard. I went to Moon Valley. They are so smart. They know everything. They are honest and kind and above all patient.
The tree I had in mind would not work because of sun issues they told me but they did not give up on me. They worked with me to find something that would be happy in my yard. I found it and it is in my yard now and doing great.
They are just so easy to work with. Their prices are very fair and they don't tell you one thing and then say they forgot and it will be more with some lame excuse.
These guys are in Torrance. They are just wonderful. You will love them. I do.”

“Hello from Atlanta Georgia! So I just have to review this company. I just had my grow bags delivered today! I am totally happy with my purchase! I was paying all that money with other companies for the exact same grow bags. I love my bags and when I need more bags, 247 Garden is where I will be purchasing them! I just can't figure out how they can sell them soooo darn cheap! They are half the price of other companies for the exact same product. Anywho, you got a customer over here in the ATL!!!!!”

“I work near Home Depot in Carson I love to look at plants during my lunch hour and most of the time I buy them also but the only thing that bothers me is when the plants come in a pot with no drainage hole and the soil is always soggy and drenched with water... other than that no complaints”
“We worked with Jasmin to get pea gravel for our project. Communication was great and she got everything delivered on time, before the holidays. The truck driver, I did not get your name, but was very friendly and unloaded the rocks right where we needed them. Excellent truck driver by the way, I didn't see a backup camera on that bad boy, but he was able to navigate that truck into our narrow driveway and frequent cross traffic with no problem.Thank you and Happy Holidays”
“I love going to this nursery every fee months. They have all sorts of stuff: veggies, succulents, shrubs, trees, etc. I just recently went to pick up some more ranunculus b/c the first 6 I got were beautiful but sadly, they were out. I put in a calendar reminder for next year b/c I love them so much! Over the years I've gotten petunias, daisies, alyssum, 2 flats of dymondia, calla lilies, butterfly bush, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, zucchini, assortment of small succulents for an arrangement, bags of compost/dirt and wood chips, etc. They turnover plants quickly and it seems their selection is very seasonal. If you want veggies, make sure you walk all the way into the nursery b/c there are lots towards the back. But also be sure to walk through all the aisles b/c sometimes they have the herbs scattered throughout and sometimes plants at different maturities are in a different spot. If in doubt, ask one of the workers. Tip: you can drive your car into the nursery and park along the side. Please be considerate and leave enough space for other cars to pass you. Also, you can load your car up wherever you parked it and then drive it up to the gate, pop your trunk, have them calculate your total and pay. (note that they charge a convenience fee if you use a credit card)They may not have as many diff varietals like a specialty store but the prices are awesome. I ALWAYS come here first before going to Armstrong Garden Center (also excellent) or a big box store.”
