“I had an amazing experience thanks to David. He truly went above and beyond for me during a really difficult time when I was struggling financially. I had been driving around for hours trying to find a place that would actually help me and not undervalue my items. Everywhere else I went, they were offering me way less and not giving me enough credit for what my stuff was worth. Then I came here, and David completely changed my night. When I needed the money, they put me on a payment plan that was very easy and simple and I do not recommend anywhere else because I did the footwork and many ones out there are terrible.
And most of all stay away from the pawnshop next-door the old guy has a horrible attitude, and he will make you feel stereotyped and judged.”
“imperial Jewelry & Loan is the most honest and legitimate pawn shop I have ever worked with. very professional customer service, honest and fair. they test gold with a modern tester that does not need for all that scraping and solution on a plate. great way to pawn your items with out having to worry of getting them damaged when checked for purity. what won me over about this establishment is the fact that they text you well in advance to remind you of your pending ticket so that you will not lose access to your pawned belongings. if your goal is to simply visit to shop their inventory they have a great selection of designer woman's handbags, curated sought after electronics, great power tools, watches, sunglasses, and just all around good finds at good prices. Thank you Jason for always helping me out, and imperial jewelry & loan for pawning my goods when times get a little challenging. continued success and blessings.”
“Best Pawn Shop I have ever used! Always professional and offer the best amounts on Pawn Loans or outright buys. Has an extensive and diverse selection of quality items in store. Anything from instruments to computers to jewelry and everything in between. I especially love their mobile app so I can keep an eye out for great deals without having to go onsite (which was great during the lockdowns). I have taken out multiple loans whenever I need a little extra money to get me to payday.
EDIT/UPDATE
Two years later, and my opinion has not changed other than to solidify my stance and view of “South Bay Jewelry & Loan”. Life has gotten, well a little lifey and due to some gnarly unforeseen circumstances (hospital stays, moves, divorce) I lost track of time and missed my due date. They would have been within their rights to sell my items. But thankfully they were willing to work with me and held off on taking ownership of my things. Love this place!!!”
