Young man in Pa. Was awesome got the 2 stars, 0 for the delivery in Colorado, Pod was in a wreck shifted the load badly broke various things, and I had to report that it was in an accident, the person controlling it didn't realize he hit anything????

When you compare this to U Pack, much better service! I used U Pack and all I can tell you is avoid U Pack at all costs. PODS couldn’t have been more flexible and understanding of our situation. Everything arrived on time with no delay. I would use them again in a heartbeat

Our driver Fernando Heredia was great! Clearly communicated when he would arrive day of, gave his recommendations on where to position POD on the street, and walked us through tips on packing the POD before he left.

Terrible experience with PODS. I absolutely do not recommend this company.
I placed my order online and then spoke with a representative to confirm all the details. At the end, I specifically asked if there was anything else I needed to do. The agent firmly told me: “No, everything is taken care of.”
Trusting this, my family and I left for vacation, expecting our personal belongings and furniture to be delivered on August 5th, as promised. On August 4th, I even received confirmation that the container would arrive the next day. But on August 5th, the container simply never arrived.
When I called PODS, the agent informed me that our container was still sitting at the origin location, and that its shipment had been canceled because I supposedly had not signed some document. Meanwhile, the company had already charged my card for transportation costs—while unilaterally canceling delivery.
When I asked why no one contacted me or notified me, the agent’s response was astonishing: “That department does not have the ability to make phone calls.”
Inside the container were essential items for our family, including necessities for our small child—furniture, clothing, and daily-use belongings. I explained this to the agent, and she assured me she could arrange delivery five days later, and that within two days I would receive an email confirmation from logistics.
What happened next? No email ever arrived. When I called again, another agent told me that the logistics department “does not have the ability to send emails.” Needless to say, the container was not delivered in five days either. Other agents later told me it would take even longer.
In the end, we only received our container ten days late. During that time, we were forced to spend significant additional money just to provide for our family’s basic needs.
To make matters worse, when the container finally arrived, we discovered that during transportation our furniture and belongings had become infested with bugs. Our furniture was practically new and had no insects before PODS loaded it. This raises a very serious question: Was the container ever disinfected after previous use?
I will acknowledge that PODS agents were always polite in tone—but their words rarely matched reality.
Given all of the above, I do not see myself ever using PODS again, nor can I recommend them to anyone else.

New Jersey PODs experience was great. California delivery of full container and pick up was totally frustrating. Agent said delivery and same day pick up available , which I confirmed night before. That was not true. It was not available from warehouse where pod was kept. I had extra costs due to movers waiting for pod, had to reschedule movers to another day. Had to wait for pod to be delivered later in day not 7-10 am as I was originally told. Disappointed in agents knowledge (at least 3 different agents told me same day was available) of company nuisances.
