They are only receiving a three star for their creativity in naming their cashier lines after street signs. Aside from that every time and I mean every time and I don’t come to this store that often their produce department is always spoiled. Some are visibly no good and the other food that appears to be OK. Such as the watermelon once I got home, it spoiled and just like the yellow golden kiwis they were spoiled on the inside as well. Definitely need some changing I am tired of wasting money

Great place to shop for fresh produce and meat. Cashiers are always welcoming and helpful. The store is always being cleaned, and products are shelved in an orderly manner

My mom & I went to Compton S & F to purchase 10 lb bag of leg quarters for $7.90 by Best Value company. We made this purchase on 10/09/23 and returned them on 10/10/24 because both bags were rotten very badly. Before going to the cashier to check if they were still selling it and they were. I had them check the back and they brought out more boxes and I had the open bag which was just as rotten as the bags we purchased. They had five boxes of this meat and the manager said we'll have to get credit for these boxes. If you still see them on the shelf report them food inspectors . I work for the County and will get the correct authorities to contact because is a regular thing for them of selling old food to customers. Also, my mom was over charge for the honeydew she purchased for .99 lb, but they charged her $1.19 lb. This added up to $2.01 overcharge. Please check receipt and before they start registering your food, put all your food on the conveyer belt first so you can pay attention to what they're ringing up. Just tell the cashier do not start until you all food on the belt since they can't be trusted. I told them they're going to get sued for food poisoning. I wouldn't surprised if they're still selling the meat, knowing that most people will not bring it back for a refund. Because happens often telling by the reviews their refrigeration system is probably bad and they have lazy slow workers. I had to start going with my elderly mom to this store because they wouldn't bag her groceries and put it in the basket. She is over 80 years old. What a shame only if all stores use the blue print like Trader Joe's. This a sad store full of bias and self-righteousness.

Every time i go here they're always out of Rockstar 24pk and the lines be too damn long no matter what time they need to hire more staff for check out they will probably more people here if it wasn't for those lines

Change of ownership. All vegan options are gone. Just basic non organic food. SMH now there are no stores with vegan whole organic food in the community .
