Avoid at all costs! We took our cat here for some dental work and she ended up needing 13 teeth extracted. When we went for our 2 week follow up they refused to let us go back in the room with her or ask the vet any questions. When the vet tech brought her out she told us that she can stop eating soft food and immediately go back to her kibble without any transition period. We also asked about some red sores that developed near her mouth (pictured below) and we were told that is completely normal and just where the teeth are hitting on her lip and it would callus over and heal fine.A week goes by and our cat starts vomiting 2-3 times a day for about 4 days. We asked the office what we should do and they said they would leave a note for the vet and call us back to get her scheduled for another checkup. They never called us back so we called to get her scheduled. We brought her in and told them what we were instructed to do and they said the prior vet tech had lied and that she ABSOLUTELY should not have transferred back to dry kibble. They said she should remain on soft food due to the number of teeth removed and the issues that creates with eating hard foods. They also told us that the marks on her mouth are not normal and it will not callus over and she will require ANOTHER surgery to remove her healthy bottom teeth… so after spending almost $1700 on her surgery less than a month ago they are now changing their story since we went into the exam room for this check up.Since we had to switch her to wet food we asked for some recommendations because our cat has a severe chicken allergy. They told us they would provide a prescription diet WITHOUT chicken and poultry. We went to fill the prescription and the first ingredient is hydrolyzed chicken liver. We called because this is exactly what they said they would check to make sure wasn’t in the food. They said again that they would leave a note for the vet and call us back. I reiterated that my cat does not have food to eat and we need to know what to feed her as she was on a limited bland diet for over a day now due to her throwing up from their negligence. They called us back and informed us that hydrolyzed chicken should be safe for animals with chicken allergies and that “9 out of 10 pets have no issues”. Obviously at this point we lost trust in their suggestions and later found out that hydrolyzed chicken is just broken up into smaller molecules that are supposedly easier to digest but not guaranteed. For us it was not worth the risk of trying this food as she has severe reactions to chicken. They offered an alternative option but said “that one has turkey so it might have similar issues for her.”They absolutely do not take your animals care seriously and have created more issues than we started out with. My cat has lost weight and had numerous digestive issues as a result of their “treatment” of her. We have spent thousands of dollars at this point because they just want more reasons to bill you and get you in the door.Let this be a cautionary tale to avoid the aggravation and keep your pets healthy!! Super overpriced and poor quality of care.

I took my dog there for nail trimming. They charged me $82 (it is $25-$40 in other vet hospitals). They had cut through the nail quicks which is extremely painful to the dog. I only realized when I got home. Poor thing walked in nasty puddles and the staff had not told me about their mess up. They charged me a restraint fee wothout asking me first, but still could not do the job properly. This is another way to charge people extra nonsense $. When I saw the invoice, called and complained they said ‘manager’ will follow up with you. No call backs. I am not going back there. Very very poor and unprofessional service. Their service has nosedived since the previous owner retired. It is all about finding ways to charge you for services that would not make any sense. They take advantage of the fact that you love your pet and would spend a few extra $ to keep them healthy.

UPDATE: i brought my dog in again because he was acting sick (which had me worried sick) Another girl did my room this time and it was so much better! She was well put together and was very professional. When the doctor came in, she assisted him well. (We love Dr. Bedros btw) After the doctor told us what he wanted to do, I expressed my concern to her about my dog and how worried i was. She was so empathetic and kind. Reassuring me that they would take good care of my dog. AND they definitely did! because after a couple of days, my pup was feeling all better and back to his normal self. I was honestly thinking about going to a different vet because of my last experience but i think im okay for now. Thank you so much Dr. Bedros and Audrey!

I have been coming here for many years. Unfortunately the practice has gone downhill since Dr. Lentz retired and sold it. We recently took our cat in for what appeared to be an ear infection. As noted in other reviews I was dinged for $98 in advance for an exam fee. The exam consisted of only things that could be upsold. For example teeth, fleas, vaccines and of course the hard sell for blood work. The temperature was not taken, heart and lungs were not listened to. The only attention given to the ears was ear wax samples taken with Q-tips on the outer ear flap. This was smeared onto a slide and without our consent turned into a cytology charge. Only after our challenging the doctor did he look into the ears with an otoscope. For reference I have worked back office for veterinarians five years. I have never seen this approach to a patient presenting with an ear complaint. Physical exams always include temp, heart and lungs too. My wife is a physician. She was present also and equally shocked. There are a lot of skilled veterinarians in the area. Dr. Bedros is not one of them. Avoid this practice.

When did All Bay start asking for payment over the phone? Tried to make an appointment for my cat and the lady said she needed payment before scheduling the appointment. That is such bullshit. I will pay you the day he gets seen. This is extremely unprofessional. If they had had problem with people not paying in the past then they should have that info on the peoples records that do. Not punish those who pay their animals medical bills every time no problems.

I called to make an appointment for a spay and dental cleaning. I got an estimate from them a few months back but wanted to wait till my dog had her next heat and was finished with it. They said since I waited I have to have another consultation beforehand which was another $98 on top of the estimated price. I get that they want to make sure she is in good health before surgery but it was the way they said it. It's all about the money first, then the pet. Such a shame and a turnoff

I've been with All Bay for 11 years and they see both of my dogs. Dr. Hou is fantastic! They are great!! My dogs have had a variety of problems from a minor cough to being attacked by another dog and cancer. They've treated both of my dogs with care and compassion. The staff is great and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

The vets, nurses, and staff at All Bay Animal Hospital are literally lifesavers - this is absolutely not an exaggeration. Last week my 11 year old cat Salem stopped eating and was hiding under the bed constantly, which is so unlike her. We called around and managed to get a same day appointment on a Saturday here, which was incredible, and once we took Salem in the vet discovered she had multiple teeth with lesions on them that needed to be extracted ASAP. They reviewed all the risks of the procedures and recommended tests to run ahead of time to make sure Salem would do well under anesthesia for the amount of time it took to remove the teeth. Yes, the tests were expensive, but they were also run on extremely short notice for a surgery scheduled 4 days in advance, so we went ahead with them. The vet sent us home with some pain meds in the meantime to make sure Salem could eat while we waited for the surgery. All the test results came back normal and her surgery was last Wednesday. They ended up having to extract 8 teeth, but the surgery overall was a success! Salem came out of anesthesia a little loopy but otherwise in good spirits. The recovery wasn't easy - she was in a lot of pain during the days immediately following the surgery, so the nurse who took care of Salem let us come by at the end of the day to pick up more kitty pain meds for her. The difference now is like night and day. She's back to her old self, wolfing down wet food, cuddling with me, and meowing for attention constantly. I was so nervous about the entire surgical process but the team here could not have handled it better. Thank you all so much for taking care of Salem!!

Went here for my dog's earache. They tried to upsell me for so many things! After saying no to a bunch of unnecessary things, they then quoted me $425 to check it, and give me meds for an ear infection. I told them I did not want my dog sedated and they refused to help him without sedation because "he didn't want them to touch his ears"! No S%$t Sherlock! He had an earache! The sedation was for the convenience of the Dr., not my dog! They then charged me over $500!!!! Will NOT be returning. They have always tried to upsell me! DONE with this Vet! Do yourself a big favor and find a Vet that actually cares about your beloved pet and not the almighty dollar!

The office manager called me back apologized and informed me that protocols would be overriden and they would provide the pain medication refill, free of charge.

Fantastic, caring staff- from reception to Doctors. They are transparent with costs before they do and also take time to explain options and don't pressure you to.
