Bad attention, they don't see money even if you have insurance

They were great. I wasn't expected to spend what was recommended for my pup but they were very nice and friendly.

The people are really nice, the Doctor is kind and seems to really love the animals, as do the assistants. They always seem super busy, so you need to plan ahead for a visit.

We left our dog at the Pet Smart hotel for 4 days. He woke up.not feeling well, the PS crew brought him over to have the doctor take a look at him, The Banfield Team showed great love and care to Vito, They took care of his problems and he is now home. I would like everyone to know how much Banfield and the Pet Smart Hotel took care of this little dog. THANK YOU. To everyone

I have been to this hospital many times and I try to be patient only because the staff is great but this visit was bad. Main reason is the wait. I waited damn near 4 hours to get my dog back. I dropped her off at 10am for a comprehensive check. I called them at 12 to hear my dogs status and the receptionist told me it could be a 4 or 3 hour wait for my dog. I decided to just wait because it shouldn't be to long but I haven't not heard back from the hospital and it's already 2:17pm. The hospital needs to have a better system in place because this is just ridiculous. My dog is locked up in a cage waiting her turn to be seen by the doctor. Every time I come to hospital my dog freaks out now and has massive anxiety. This hospital need to do better. Super inconvenient to the dogs and the owners.

We had to have our 21 year old cat put to sleep. The staff was wonderful from the moment we called to make the appointment, having us go in the exam room the minute we walked in so we didn't have to wait in the waiting room, the vet was very empathetic, professional, asked if we wanted to be present when he put BB to sleep-we did. The Banfield staff including the vet all signed and sent a sympathy card within a few days. That was so touching. There have been times where friends and family haven't sent us a sympathy card when a human has died in our family . I highly recommend this pet hospital.

Very friendly service. Treat you and your animal like family as much as possible. My dog still has her picture up on the wall from over 2 years ago.

Very disappointed with this vet. My husband and I signed our dog up for a wellness plan to include the dental cleaning. We even spoke to Dr Tamura before we made the appointment. We were not notified or even given estimates to warn us of any additional charges if our dog needed to have teeth extracted. After our dog had his teeth cleaned and while he was still laying on a table under anesthesia, Dr Tamura called us to tell us he needed $2000 in addition to the $880 we already paid for the wellness plan to do the extractions. We were shocked and angry. He left us with 2 choices;1. Pay the money and do the extractions or2. Take our dog home with loose teeth and risk infection. The only good thing about this office are the employees. The staff are very kind and treat the animals with respect. The vet is questionable. If you bring your pet here be wary of the wellness plans and surprise charges.

I didn't think incompetency could have a face but it is BANFIELD in concord. They have scared my dog for life when they locked my dog in a cage for hours and left him riddled woth anxiety. They also have no ability to translate a request from a phone call to reality; I set up an appointment strictly for an X-ray and what do we get, a physical, shots, and a money grab for drugs + the doctor saying "I think your dog needs an x-ray but it's 4 pm and you aren't scheduled for one". it's been 9 days and they still haven't reached back out to reschedule. We are officially leaving this joke of a vet where the animals are treated as numbers with their staff having no connection to reality.

Amanda was extremely helpful to me today as I had a little bit of an emergency with my dog food prescription. She went out of her way to call my previous vet to get the prescription and had it refilled for me. Thank you for going out of your way!!

This is the most sorry excuse for a vets office I've ever been to. I took my cat here 3 months ago because we moved and it was close to our house. I wanted to get her a check up because she was older. They took her to the back for the exam without me there which is strange I've never been to a vet that has done that (post pandemic) and they told me she seems fine but that I would need to buy the wellness plan and get bloodwork done to know. She had been healthy her whole life so I declined the because I trusted them (which was a huge mistake). Her health declined almost immediately after and her stomach became bloated. I decided to take her to a real vet and they felt her stomach and told me in two seconds that they are positive she has cancer and that she had about a week or two to live. They said it had been there a long time and they were surprised another vet could possibly miss that. Long story short all that these people care about is dollar signs they have no compassion for animals or humans. If it wasn't for them I may still have my cat or at least have been able to be aware and cherish my last couple months with her instead of finding out I have 1 week. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE.
