Pretty glad I found this place. I was referred here by a friend. I was looking for someone check out my breaks and she swore to it, this guy is so good because he’s honest. I’m very happy to finally find an honest mechanic. I’ve never had a surprised bill, or a surprise thing that needed fixing out of nowhere. Also, I just bought a used car the last week and even though it was pre-certified, I decided to get it checked out here. I didn’t have an appointment and it was the hour before closing, but the owner squeezed in my car anyway for a quick look. Now I’m at peace. I highly recommend them.

Steve is the best mechanic in the area. He’s dealt with every car in my family and got our vehicles fixed at a reasonable rate.
When I was in socal having A/C issues, I called Steve to ask for advice. He helped me fix my car myself while other mechanics quoted me $200 just to see it. I’ve visited Steve 4 times over a span of 3 months for things here and there, and he’s always made time for me.

I have a 2012 Honda Accord was leaking gas from all over, I wasn't even sure exactly where it was coming from. So I brought it to Choe. Turns out that I had recently had to drain my gas tank, and the access to the tank is underneath my back seat. Choe found that I had not fully reattached the fuel line to the tank cap, and it popped off, that was it. I had some other stuff he had to do also, but he could've really reamed me for the fuel issue (since I had no idea what was wrong and assumed it was something pretty big) and he didn't. At that time i didn't know much at all about his work (I was a new customer) but for that honesty alone, I decided to come back.
Since then I've had work done 5-6 times for various things, and have always been very pleased. And it is so hard to find a good mechanic who won't ream you just because he can.

Few weeks ago, I went out for dinner in Concord area with my friends from Pleasanton. As we were arriving at the restaurant, someone noticed a puddle of water under my car. I called a towing but it was too expensive to get it towed to my area. So we looked up a shop, and Choe's Auto Center came up with best reviews. It was a weekend so everything was closed. We just had our car towed to Choe's and called them on Monday. As they are highly rated shop, their appointments were fully booked. But knowing my situation, the owner got our car fixed in just a day and half staying over time. His understanding and kindness not only saved me time, but saved me financially because I didn't have to tow the car and rent a car for the service. I highly recommend Choe's for their honest diagnostics and understanding.

I have never been happier with a mechanic than with Steve at Choes auto. They got my car back to me so fast and explained clearly what happened, even included some quick preventative care to make sure it wouldn’t happen again. Very reasonably priced and doesn’t try to upsell you.

Great customer service very helpful called me back when he said he would very reasonably priced I definitely recommend going to to Choes if you are having any mechanical issues with your vehicle.

I recently visited Choe’s Auto Center for an oil change and was thoroughly impressed. The service was quick, efficient, and professional. Choe and his dad was friendly and explained everything clearly. My car runs smoothly, and I’m very pleased with the experience and price. Highly recommend for anyone needing an oil change!
