When UHaul completely derailed my Dad's move to Oregon by renting out his reserved truck on Friday the 28th and NOT telling him until he arrived to pick it up Saturday AM, Enterprise came through in a pinch! The truck was clean and ready to go right then and there. The only downside is it has to be brought back to CA instead of taking to an Enterprise facility in Oregon. Enterprise in Concord helped save the day on an already stressful and hectic weekend. Thank you.

Great customer service! We rented a moving truck and got a great rate. Andrew and Tyler are very friendly and got us on the road quickly! The truck fit all our furniture with room to spare. They have extra blankets and straps for purchase if you need them! We'll definitely be back! Thanks guys!

I recently needed to tow a mini excavator on a trailer and figured where else to rent than Enterprise? I made a reservation for a 1 ton pick up truck. I reserved on line and even called to confirm a day ahead. Everything appeared good as I confirmed with Enterprise I wanted a 1 ton because I had some towing to do. Got there at 9AM, picked up the truck, no problem, was brandy new F-350, diesel, sweet ride. So thinking everything was good, put 12 gallons of diesel because I was driving to Santa Rosa and back (it only had 1/4 tank when I picked it up,no big deal right?). Stopped at the trailer rental place (Herc) and this is where things went down hill. The rental place didn't have a hitch reducer to accommodate the new receiver size Ford has (3"X3"). Nor was the one that the Enterprise guy, Joe, placed in the back seat when I left Enterprise- it was not the right size. I rolled over to B&D trailer and asked if they had one and the good guys over there said that it's a Ford Dealer item only right now- nobody has them. So, before leaving B&D I get on the horn with Enterprise and asked if they had simply given me the wrong receiver. Of course, "Joe" was out to lunch, literally. Ariana stated she thought I had the right one, told her it did not work. I offered to drive over to Ford in Walnut Creek and buy one, if Enterprise would reimburse me. "Oh, we can't do that," states Ariana. So, she explains, she'll check their inventory to see if they have another truck available. Tick-tock, after five minutes of sitting, waiting for a call back, I rolled back over to Herc, told them it isn't looking good, hold my trailer reservation. Herc mentions to me that they also rent trucks....I drove back over the Enterprise and Joe was back in the office, with a quizzical look wondering why I was back. I never did get that call back from Ariana. I exclaimed to him that he'd given me the wrong reducer and the truck was useless to me if I can't tow with it, given that I told Enterprise that was what I needed the truck for. Joe had to "test" the reducer to ensure I wasn't to liar...he ended up cancelling my rental after walking from the back, looking for one that would work. I asked him what about the $50 worth of diesel I just gassed it with. "Not much I can do about that," Joe states. Are you kidding me? Not, hey we'll get one from Ford, can we re-schedule for tomorrow? What a joke. All I can say is thankfully, I was able to re-schedule my pickup of the excavator for the following day, using a truck from Herc- but WTF Enterprise, you screwed my schedule, wasted my time, and took my $50 with basically a "Sorry." Yeah, sorry alright. Sorry that the customer service is lousy and they don't know the products they rent. What happened to fair business and making things right? Anyone is taken the time to read my bad experience rant, thinking of renting from this place, there's lots of better places in the area, with way better service- unless you just want to be "another customer" that may run the risk of a poor experience too.
