I'm not here to review the church. The dog park! 5 stars for location, 4 stars for cleanliness/toys/water access, but 1 star because no one is ever there. I keep spreading the word and hopefully it catches on. So convenient but really wanting some friendly dogs for Murphy to play with.

Good church, good people. I was a member of Golden Hills in Brentwood and Fair Oaks started GHCC. So when I moved to Concord I just went on over.

BSF has been a life source for me and so many through the kindness of their Pastor to allow all of us ladies to learn and study God's word in their Church facility and classrooms.

I have been attending Fair Oaks Church since December or January 2001 and been coming here ever since it is a wonderful church I love it I serve in the Children's ministry and enjoy it, Pastor Tom Olson is a terrific Pastor Tom teaches directly from the Bible and every message is relevant to current times & every person young or old. Everyone here is so friendly & genuinely happy to meet new people. The worship music is amazing and praises God.the Lead Pastor. I found him to be very personable and a very dynamic speaker. His sermon was inspired and thoughtful. It felt as if he was speaking directly to me.I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to worship and attend here

Serious Monkey Business alert- Don't let them make a (Mail-) Chimp out of you! "Stealing personal data in the name of Jesus since God knows when...." While it is true that this organization provides a lot of community service, it is ALSO true that they data mine your information and sell it to Mail Chimp & List-Manage, who then aggregate it and resell it. All of this happens WITHOUT your permission- without even so much as a "By your leave." How did they get our info? We dropped in for a visit (about 2 years ago) and dropped our kid off at their kids program. It seems that they will not admit a child without your phone number and email and whatever else. Uh oh, the service is going to begin in 3 minutes and we're kind of stuck. So, we SPECIFICALLY asked them NOT to distribute, rent, sell, share, give away, etc. our information. Of course, they Promised (wink wink, cross your fingers behind your back). Within hours of attending, my mailbox had its first spam message. Clearly, there had been a whoops (or so I thought). After all, how could this possibly have happened so fast? Somebody must have manually entered and uploaded our data. Ok, mistakes and miscommunications happen. Surely this was a good-will mistake. Solution? Remove us from your mailing list & computer. End of problem. Next week, MORE Fair Oaks specific SPAM. Ok, mistakes can happen twice in a row, No problem, we'll just nicely remind them of their 2 mistakes (broken promises in actuality) and ask them to remedy the situation. What's not to like? More and more spam, more and more pleading to fix this (implied predicate to complete the sentence).... They smile and agree to everything you ask. (They are just telling you what you want to hear, like a used car salesman.) Time for a phone call because clearly the person we spoke with is unable to fix this manually. No problem, we'll just ask for someone who CAN fix it. After all, no Christian organization worthy of the name would ever INTENTIONALLY do this, right? (Wrong.) Months later, there is still more spam. Hmm, maybe I should write a Yelp review. Nah, I don't want to ever give a church a hot foot. I wouldn't want it done to me. Ok, I'll let it ride. About 2 years later with continuing spam all the while, I check my mail. More spam- Two YEARS later.... At this point, I'm desperate. This place is a barnacle on my ship. It's a parasite and it REFUSES to be removed from the hull. Fine. Now it's time to perform the Watchman on the Wall duty. (Confer with Isaiah 62:6 and ff. "On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves...." NASB) Because they refuse to fix the problem, I can at least warn others. (See Ezekiel 33 in its entirety but in particular, focus on verse 6 "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away [a]in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.'") Hence, this review, albeit 2 years too late. And for my tardiness, I humbly beg your forgiveness. I honestly thought they would keep their word. Your Application and Action steps? Think twice before associating with this organization. Clearly, Good Faith (i.e., keeping promises in good faith) is NOT a priority here. There are LOTS and LOTS of other churches in the area. I'm not suggesting any church in particular, just anything OTHER than Fair Oaks. "But I like the young Pastor. He seems to be truly on fire for the LORD!" Or "I'm already a regular and I hate the idea of pulling up roots and changing churches." I understand BOTH of those things. So at minimum, what you can do is to NEVER, EVER share your information with these people- not ever. In conclusion, consider this: I do not have a particularly thin skin. If I, a member of the Christian church at large c

I was a welcomed guest of Cali G and her handsome husband, Phil, to their place of worship Easter Sunday. I come from a Christian family, but I've not been to service in many years. Phil is the Worship Pastor and leads an talented band, including Cali's beautiful voice, which played throughout the service. It a lovely church with very cordial parishioners. I was fortunate to find myself sitting with Tom Olson, the Lead Pastor. I found him to be very personable and a very dynamic speaker. His sermon was inspired and thoughtful. It felt as if he was speaking directly to me. The Easter fellowship included an Easter Egg hunt, food trucks offering Chicken and waffles and frozen custard. Phil makes a mean iced coffee too! I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to worship there. Thank you Cali and Phil for being a part of my life!
