If I could give this Hot Topic location zero stars, I would! My husband and I were falsely accused of STEALING during our visit, claiming we were recently there and the staff member who approached us “recognized” my husband, and saw him stealing! They claimed to have cameras and so I asked for proof, and they refused to show me, didnt even try resolving the matter. Not any evidence to back up their outrageous claim, and without even trying to resolve the conflict. The staff didn’t even bother to even act professionally—they just outright publicly humiliated us.
This experience was nothing short of traumatizing. We’ve been loyal customers of Hot Topic for years, we’ve recently moved to Concord and Sunvalley mall was a wonderful place to go, but after being treated like criminals, we will NEVER set foot in this store—or any other Hot Topic—again.
What’s worse, the staff seemed to relish the confrontation, as if targeting innocent customers is their idea of entertainment. If you value being treated with respect and dignity, avoid this place at all costs. Clearly, customer service and basic human decency are not priorities here.
Save your time, your money, and your sanity-shop literally ANYWHERE else. Hot Topic has changed, obviously not caring about their customers and losing two lifelong customers in the process, and judging by the behavior at this location, I wouldn’t be surprised if they drive away more.

The store is clean, organized and they have lots of Melanie Martinez merch for you to buy! And I might get a Melanie shirt soon, and the workers are very nice and the discounts are a life saver, love you hot topic. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

staff are REALLY nice, appearing and sounding very welcoming!! :D
really has a variety of items.
I dont really know what else to say about this store since its overall really nice, but i just have to say that the clothing is a bit pricey ?.. the ones on the racks or for the get one get one (sale deal here) are okay, if i wanted a shirt there I'd go to the racks to be honest... ??? but overall REALLY NICE PLACE, i dont see any messes anywhere, very tidy!!!!!!!

I love the clothing items I bought from this location, the employees are sweet people but seriously it was very obvious that I did not want to hear about rewards and they literally shoved it down my throat. The cashier behind the counter scanned my items, then asked if I wanted to hear about their rewards, I literally replied no and she replied back to me saying, “Well I’m going to tell you anyway”, and didn’t hand me my items?? took up like five more minutes of my time and led me to make this review. Please take a hint and let people exit.

Nice place but the girl forgot to take off the electronic sensor. The one for antitheft the alarm even went off as we walked out but told us everything was good. Until I got home and found it stuck on the shirt.
