I Walked in with a question and i was immediately met with suspension. The "Person in charge" never even looked at me in the eyes. The good sir just kept walking away from me while explaining the policy. Very unprofessional and unapproachable personal. Lids customer service is dead. As i walked out , i looked at the kind fella in charged and said " thank you" and waived. No acknowledge or response. Good bye big hat corp and hello ma and pa hat shop down the hall.

If I could give zero stars I would. Dustin is the most unprofessional manager I've EVER ran into. He's very unprofessional and the way he speaks to his customers is outrageous. I wasn't greeted, the store was a mess. I reached out to another store in Livermore to get someone above him information since he refused to give me a corporate number or pass my information over to a district manager. If you read other reviews clearly this is a pattern with him and people above him refuse to do anything about it. Steer clear of this location if you can it's not worth the headache.

Crazy expensive. It's like none of it is for the customers anymore. It's all for them. They don't have 20 employees 1 is all there paying. 50$ for a hat.

The manager Dustin refused to give me a refund on my item even with a receipt that says I have 30 days to get a full refund, it has only been 4 days since my purchase. He is a lair and terrible employe.

Witnessed the fat dude working cashier yell at a dad and his 2 year old because his toddler wasn't wearing a mask. They don't give customer service but love to yell at customers apparently... not going to support a store like this..

My husband and I came here to custom design a hat. I originally came in because I made a custom hat online and was not too happy with it and it was almost double what you can pay in the store. I was hoping they can unravel the part I was unhappy with and do something different. They really couldn't do much for me since the online portal handles things differently than the store, which is fine. Plus, they didn't have the tool to unstitch. We just ended up making a new hat. We worked with the store manager, who was really cool and there were these 2 other guys who were working in the embroidery area. They were so cool and really patient especially since we came in at almost closing. They helped make our design come to life and when we got our hat back, it was exactly what we wanted! I wish I caught their names, but really cool guys. This hat was a Mitchell & Ness so it was really good quality and it was half the price than what I paid at Custom Lids online for a New Era cap.

Terrible customer service. Like most places these days, they hire idiot teenagers with zero training or customer service skills. Bought a coke white Warriors hat a few weeks ago and in my haste didn't realize it was actually kind of dirty when the girl at the register dropped it on the floor and stuffed it in the bag. Then the idiot forgot to take the alarm sensor off so I had to go back and get that taken off. And the crazy part is the alarm didn't even go off. Mentioned it to the other idiot there and she didn't seem to care. Anyway, long story short, I got home and realized it was ruined. Came in at 10:30 this morning to return. They're supposed to be open at ten but surprise, the idiots who work there failed to even show up on time to work so the store was closed. So, I come back an hour later and the same idiot girl who dropped my hat just stares at the hat and receipt for about ten minutes and doesn't really say anything other than "I'm not sure. Give me a minute". Yeah, idiot, I know you're not sure about much of anything in life. Then the "manager" who looks like she's an extra from a movie about high school kids in a breakdanceing competition, comes over and stares at the hat and receipt for another 5 minutes. Then says she can only offer me a refund because it's been worn. I explain I bought it that way and she says I have no proof of that Then she offers to exchange it for the same hat, which of course they didn't have in my size. So I ask for a store credit. Nope. Can I exchange for another hat in my size? Nope. Then its no because the round size sticker was missing. Keep in mind the PRICE sticker was right there. But the size sticker is what they were worried about. This is why stores like this will fail. I can buy the same hat online for a third less and have zero hassle with returns or idiot teenagers. I will never shop at Lids again.

Consistently gives bad service !!!! It’s even worst when it’s a group of workers at once they pay the customer no mind… No greeting no help very nonchalant when I asked questions about the product.. this is not an experience I’ve had with other locations. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend (unless it’s to your convenience and don’t mind poor service). That location is very much to my convenience but I’d rather go out of my way to avoid those guys.

Called in advance for same day embroidery. I was told it could be done(basic lettering on 2 hats). When I arrived I was told I would have to come back tomorrow. Came back the next day to pick up my order and the employees accept for one were unfriendly quite prickish. Called several times prior to my visit to make sure it was done...they never answered the phone(3 employees standing around when I arrived) Overall vibe is very dip $hit. Won't bother again! Go elsewhere. F this place. Lids do better!.

Went into the store and spent $150 worth of items and then cut my finger on the counter because Of a nail that was sticking out. My finger was bleeding and I told the employee. He said “I know I told the manager about it”. No apology what so ever. Worst customer service ever. Didn’t even offer any kind of discount after spending so much money.
