Gave me a safe place to stay with my children in a time of struggle and a space to be vulnerable and accepted. Put me in the hotel for a few days, then took us to an undisclosed location where I felt safe.

STAND! For Families Free of Violence is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to interrupting, addressing, and preventing domestic and intimate partner violence. STAND! is the only comprehensive shelter-based domestic violence service agency that serves all members of the family in Contra Costa County. Programs and services are available for survivors, their children, as well as those who have used violence or caused harm, and are looking to change their relationships.
