“Awesome place for special needs people to go each day. Loving, caring people work with them. They learn different skills, go on outings, play and have fun. I drive for Keolis transportation, pick up at home, take to program and home again. The staff is the greatest. Keolis is looking for drivers. I've been driving them for 28 years and love watching the excitement and smiles when they arrive at their program.”

“Keep in mind, as with All Moose Lodges, they are open to Moose Members ONLY and their qualified guests. Having said that, if you meet that criteria, you MUST stop in this Lodge! It's an awesome place to get a bite, a drink, socialize, or just chill.”

“This review is specifically for Victoria at Early Alert Canines. Victoria is the ultimate ambassador the for mission at Early Alert. the thought of training dogs to detect diabetes, Covid and more is such a powerful and life saving mission. You could feel her passion for it. As a member of the Concord Chamber of Commerce, she invited us all to visit the dogs and get to interact with them and it was such a heart warming experience. If you want to learn more about adopting a dog for yourself or someone else, Victoria is who you should connect with.”

“Amazing people and wonderful place, full of resources and folks can get items critical for survival, especially now with the plight many families and individuals are facing. Food is available for pickup 3 days each week, every week if needed, from 9am-12pm, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Food Bank occasionally, once maybe twice each month brings an extra truck loaded with fresh produce and it's quite good and greatly appreciated. The people are so nice, services fairly comprehensive, and they do special things around the holidays and have special representatives from time to time as well as lots of information about available services in this county and surrounding ones also. Thanks, Monument Crisis Center, and for anyone who doubts that they're not anyone out there who cares, go there; it will change your mind. Kaz”

“Pretty easy process. The exception is City of Davis had 3 different services to mark, sewer, H²O & electical. 2 were done right away. 1 was done days after project was suppose to start. PG&E, Comcast, & ATT all responded in the time frame requested by call 811 before you dig.”

“Amazing work from the Fresh Approach team as well as fresh vegetables given to the public. I worked as a Fresh Approach intern and I loved every second, communicating with the workers, transporting local goods, and giving away free fertilizer! They provided a variety of vegetables and fruits for people to take home. Everybody in Fresh Approach were very nice and super helpful helping out customers from the beginning to the end. Definitely a great non profit organization that everybody should check out!!”

“Nine years ago I moved to the East Bay with my family & began the process of trying to find activities to put my kids in. In searching around I started to get discouraged because I was priced out of pretty much every activity I could find. Until my neighbor recommended CYC & I am forever grateful to her for that. Once I looked further into the sports offered in addition to the affordable price, I knew that we would be members for a long time. Our CYC journey began with my son, he didn’t know what he was interested in so we started trying out a couple of different sports. First, trying taekwondo & eventually he switched over to wrestling. Although he isn’t a member anymore due to his lack of interest in sports, I was thrilled that there was a place for him to try out a few different things & it didn’t cost me a lot & there was no long term commitment for him.As soon as my youngest turned three years old we started enrolling her in activities at CYC as well. She has taken classes in dance (tap/ballet), soccer, gymnastics, wrestling & a few years ago she found her passion in cheer. Now she is in her fourth year on one of CYC’s competitive cheer teams. In addition to practice, she takes a tumbling class, flyers class, a strength & conditioning class & gets private lessons from one of her fantastic coaches twice a month. We are at CYC four days a week, you would think that would be enough, but it's not! She eagerly awaits the two Fridays a month she can go to an open gym that is hosted by the cheer program. She has also attended several summer camps for cheer. She absolutely loves being at the gym & spending time with her CYC family, whether it is hanging out before, after or during her activities or while we are on the road at their competitions. It is truly that, a family. Not only does CYC have a great selection of classes to choose from but they also care about their members as a whole. The staff & coaches are so kind and helpful. Every interaction I’ve had with any member of the staff has been positive & I am so impressed by how they try to learn of all the members' names, so they can address them personally. It really makes you feel like your child is a part of their family. In addition to everything I’ve said above, I love that kids can come here and get help with their schoolwork. Although my children have never utilized the AE programs I have always been thrilled that it was there as an option.CYC plays such a pivotal role in our community. In a time when things were uncertain and crazy, CYC remained a constant in my family’s lives. The staff at CYC did an amazing job pivoting when everything closed down due to the Covid pandemic & found a way to continue to foster the love of sports in the lives of the kids they serve. Without the awesome programs offered here I can honestly say my kids wouldn’t have had the opportunity to try out different sports to see what would light a spark in them.I love how the staff here continues to try & introduce new activities for its members, from adding new sports to offering enrichment classes & fun events.CYC is worth checking out, as it offers so much to our youth & at such a reasonable price that you cannot find anywhere else. There truly is no other place like CYC.”

“I am very thankful for my Stand family. Stand has helped me for everything with my son and myself. I got safe house, they prepared me to go to transitional housing to start my process to become independent. For the time it was needed they provided me with food. Stand made me stronger and lifted me up when I fell down. They connected me with a good attorney. The people who works at the shelter Crisis line advocates and Case workers , everyone were nice and kind with me because I respect them and they respectful people too. I am free now and safe got a voucher through Stand. I learned English I' graduated College. All I got is good hearted human beens that want to help othersI have received services from 2019 2022 and I am happy living a free life because they gave me the opportunity to be part of Stand family. I utilized this time and their efforts to support me to be better in life and I thank God for it and of course Stand too for accepting me. Is important to know that you have to respect their time because Stand workers do it with love but sometimes people is not prepared for that neither know what love looks like .”

“4 stars for the staff, the cleanliness and the ample selection of items. Zero stars for the increasing greed of Goodwill and their executives. $9.99 for a women's plain long sleeve t shirt is ridiculous and not what Goodwill is here for. It is no longer an affordable option for families in need. We can find cheaper clothing items online or for sale at other stores. And please don't comment that our shopping leads to jobs and counseling etc. Each clothing item needs to be reduced by a few dollars in order for Goodwill to be affordable for our community again.”
