We started our son here when he was 18 months and we had just moved to Concord. We researched and toured several daycares in the area and didn't feel right about any of them until we came across this one. From day one, I have felt comfortable leaving my baby in their care and not stressing about him during the day. Over the months, we have come to feel a part of the family as we have all developed bonds with the kind and caring staff. They keep us updated through daily logs and verbal commentaries about our son's needs and progress. They are super responsive to my voiced concerns, which only further fuels my utter confidence in them. They fill the day with activities that have helped accelerate my son's communication skills, and are frequently surprising me with my son's art, which tickles me to no end. Oh and around Mother's Day they hosted the most heartwarming Mother's Day Tea, which gave me The chance to share a profoundly special moment with my son that I have never before experienced and I will now cherish that memory forever. The next event is a Father's Day ice cream social. I am heartened to now realize Both my husband and I will have many more moments like that in the future thanks to this daycare and it fills me with joy. We love it here.

My son has been going to Step-by-Step for a few years now and we have had the best experience!! Mrs. Marzi and every single teacher at the school are all very nice, loving and extremely caring. Mrs. Virginia and Mrs. Ellie are such great teachers and my son has developed and grown so much from being at Step-by-Step. Everyday I drop my son off he is so excited to be at school. I feel very comfortable and happy knowing that there is such a trustworthy school like Step-by-Step that I can bring my son to everyday!! I would recommend this school to anyone who is in need of an outstanding school!! Thank you to all of the teachers and staff, you are truly appreciated!!!! :)

Our three year old has been going to Step by Step since we relocated to the area in August and we are very impressed. The teachers are so lovely and thoughtful with the students and the director, Marzi, is kind and professional. It's very clear that this school cares for all of the children it serves. Would highly recommend!

When the time came for us to look for a childcare for our son, as new parents, we were extremely careful when searching for the right place. When we step inside SBSM we knew immediately that was the right place for our child. Miss Marzi (the director) was always kind, understanding and a wonderful teacher! They have numerous activities and tools to keep toddlers busy playing and learning. They're very professional and gentle with the little ones. One of the things we like the most was the organization of the rooms (we visited other places were the toilets were in the same room as the eating areas) but at SBSM everything has its place, the kids are in a safe hygienic space. When our son move to the classroom next door with Miss Rachel, he blossom academically. Miss Rachel has been a magnificent teacher, our son looked forward to her class everyday. He loved all the new projects she always came up with. She was great at communicating with us through the LearningGenie app, email and phone. All the work that the teachers have done during the 5 years our son stayed in, no doubt has had a positive impact that will last a lifetime. When COVID hit, the communication between the school and the parents was crucial, and all we can say is that they went above and beyond. Thank you to all the staff for taking such a great care of our son and giving him such a wonderful head start! Miss Marzi, Miss Rachel, Miss Anna, Miss Anffie, Miss Martha, Miss Liz, Miss Virginia, Miss Farnosh, and Miss Samira. We always felt safe leaving our child in their care. All the staff are loving, caring, and very professional.

Dear Parents,Let me start with a heartfelt THANK YOU to the very dedicated Teachers and Director at Step-by-Step Montessori. Miss Rachel, Miss Marzi, Miss Mana, and Miss Virginia: we will always be thankful for your massive contribution to our daughter's development. Thanks to you, Diana is a well-rounded (emotionally, academically, culturally) and happy child. In a couple of weeks, she will leave the preschool to start a new chapter in her life, and I do not doubt that she is very well prepared for it.At SbS, children are performing a wide range of activities. Let me share with you a couple of highlights from the last two weeks:- Miss Rachel brought eggs for the children to demonstrate how the baby chicks will hatch. A couple of days later, several baby chicks were born at preschool! Our daughter was fascinated to see this process and love each of the chicks dearly- Children celebrated a cultural week during which the children prepared a poster about their own culture and shared it with friends- Children learned how plants grow from seed by planting their seeds first in a mini greenhouse and then in the gardenIn my opinion, SbS provides a very safe environment for the children. For this reason, we were never concerned about our daughter's safety. If Diana was ever hurt (scratched herself or ripped the skin by playing), the teacher always took good care of it and reported to us. Since the entire playground was remodeled with a 'soft landing' rubber surface, the environment is even safer. Our family had a very good experience at Step-by-Step Montessori School, and I will recommend this school especially for parents interested in whole child development and strong academics.

The school has changed from the time our son was there and the community is talking (check Next Door). Follow your gut. Visit the school and see if you like it but if it doesn't feel right, ask questions and speak up. I'll just keep it at that.

Montessori schools generally prepare students for school. They teach them content areas and prepare them to be life long learners. However,Step-by-Step Montessori is in my opinion the best Montessori school. Mrs. Marzi, Ms. Rachael, and Mrs. Martha are highly educated women who take the responsibility of teaching the whole child; academically, culturally, and emotionally. I am so grateful for how the school prepared my son for first grade. He is one of the highest students academically in the class. The school also has events that encourage cultural awareness and a coming togetherness of the students and parents. My youngest son still attends Step-by-Step and although he has a different in personality than my first, he is excelling academically at the same rate as my oldest son. I am so pleased with the all the things they have taught my sins at the school. I would high recommend Step-by- Step Montessori to anyone especially the families who are dedicated to developing their child as a whole person.
