There is NO fruits, they serve ice with fruit sauce, not actual fruit the test was really bad. The quality wasn’t good.

I honestly prefer their taste over Jamba! It's creamy and super tasty. I tried getting THE Kale Smoothie at other Surf City locations but they do NOT hit the same. I highly recommend getting the Kale Smoothie here! It gets super long for lines during the weekends per usual, but they're fairly quick for a smoothie place! I've waited longer at acai places. It's loud, but that's given per smoothie place and mall. Totally fits the on-the-go vibe!

disappointing, if you take a smoothie with banana in it you will ONLY smell the banana and not the other fruits

If you are looking for a milkshake, buy something from here but if you want a smoothie go somewhere else. cant even taste the fruit, tastes like strawberry hospital ice cream in a cup. waste of $8 but at least the employees were nice enough

My husband loves to visit this place and got the power pump smoothie because it is filling. I have to admit that it took me the second time to really enjoy the power pump smoothie because the taste of it was fruity but not sweet enough, almost healthy tasting, which is not a bad thing. I felt full and more energetic after drinking the smoothie, which is a good thing. I would definitely try it again and recommend others to visit as well.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. A lot has changed with the quality of their drinks and more lately which I'm sure is due to inflation. They should call their drinks icees/slurpees instead of smoothies because majority (80%) of the ingredient is ice. If you watch them make it they put very little fruit and soy milk and fill the cup with ice. My last drink had chunks of ice in it. To me it's a waste of money because you are paying $8-$12 for a cup of ice!!

After my encounter today with an off duty employee, I will not be returning. I had an issue with my drink being lost and 5 other drinks being made and passed out that were ordered after mine. I spoke to a person on shift about the issue, refused to give me a refund as I no longer wanted the drink, fine, got the drink made again but as I'm turning to my husband complaining this off duty employee barges me and starts yelling at me that this is everyone's first day, drink tickets get lost, and a whole lot of excuses. I've worked in the industry, regardless of what happens you don't scream at customers especially when you're not even working a shift. She continued to berate me and her body langue was aggressive, she moved in closer to me as if she was about to swing at me, making my husband jump in front of her while holding our toddler. When I asked for her name and a manager she immediately shut up, retreated like a dog with her tail tucked and refused to speak anymore. Huh, where'd that bold energy go?!? As we were leaving she continued to talk crap and yell, so I asked her to come here so I could ask why she felt the need to act this way. She then informed me she was 17, as if I was going to get physical with her. Last I checked, she was the one who was about to. I don't use my hands for violence especially with my child around. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere until management figures out who to hire employees with better customer service. On duty or not, you're still a representation of the company and that was the only thing I needed to see to know my money is spent better elsewhere. Unfortunate as I've been coming here since the early 2000s but refuse to let crappy employees berate customers. I hope that yelling at me was worth the possibility of losing your job.

PERFECT!!! Whoever made my drink today did it perfect!!! Strawberry chiller, no sugar, two Splenda!!! T1D here and it barely raised my blood sugar. Sometimes they do screw it up and I can tell right off the bat. I just deal with it and sometimes even toss it after the first sip.

I wish I could leave a 0-star review. This review is not regarding the order itself (which by the way was horrible as well -- I got the triple berry and my friend got the bee stinger; ) This is about the fact that the owner (a lady with white hair) fired this young-looking employee and made him take off his T-shirt before he left. This poor kid had to walk through sun valley mall topless looking embarrassed. I find it incredible that the place did not even have the courtesy to let the employee leave with the T-shirt and maybe ask for it later. For juice or the way they treat their employees, do not go here.

I love the orange banana coconut smoothie and I ordered a large size for the very first time. I was surprised that even though I'm already paying for a large, I was still charged extra for "extra fruit." I didn't notice this charge until later when I looked at my receipt. I would assume that paying for a larger sized drink would already include all the costs of the extra ingredients they would put in there, so this was weird.

My favorite smoothie place of all times. I have been going here since I was in middle school. Located in the Sun Valley Mall, right below the escalator on the JC Penny side. All the employees were wearing their masks and they implemented more plexiglass around the area to promote for more safety measures. My favorite go to drink is the Strawberry Banana smoothie. Sometimes I add Kale if I want to get more healthy with it, but this time I wanted to try their traditional flavor combo. The smoothie was ice cold and had the right amount of thickness to it. I do notice a difference from time to time, but they are more or less consistent with how it is made. Whenever Mrs. Kim is working, she always helps make my drink for me and she does it the absolute best. Overall, I will always go back here. My go to spot for a smoothie.

So inconsistent with drinks. Every drink tastes the same with the milkshake mix regardless of what fruit you ask for. Only 1 out of 10 drinks can you actually taste the fruits. That is when we constantly tell them to have less mix and a bit more fruit. I give up on asking them. They just stare back and say nothing but "ok" and nothing changes. Find another place this spot is disappointing.

I don't typical slam employees of places on Yelp because I know that people that work at restaurants are just trying to do their jobs for the most part and they don't need crap on Yelp. The only time I ever mention people that work at places is if there is good service and I just say 'friendly staff'. I never mention my hair-cutter by name because that's just creepy and stalker-ish. But I am going to mention this kid that lied to me here. If you take a look at my photos you will see a kid wearing glasses under a distant sign that says 'Watch Gallery". The guy with his arm out like he's handing some their change. That guy is a lying a*** Here's how this went down. Shopping in a mall can be tiring and I abuse caffeine. Just like a lot of people I slam coffee and anything that has caffeine in it for energy. So after shopping half the stores on the first level I set out to get my upper and ask this dude if they have anything with caffeine in it. They do not, but he would not admit it. It appears as if this dude is so sick and tired of people asking for stuff with caffeine in it, when they don't serve anything with that drug, that he has just resorted to telling people b******** What this dude told me was and I will quote "We use Creatine which is exactly the same as Caffeine." Unquote. WTF? What this dude did not know is that I am a certified sports nutritionist and no, Creatine is NOT caffeine. Now I can sympathize with this guy for having to field so many customers asking for something with caffeine in it and it is the fault of the owner of this place for not having what customers want. But it gives this guy no right to lie to consumers about food ingredients. That's a big no-no. In fact I think making a false statement about food ingredients may actually be illegal in California.
