Damien was very prompt & courteous, He was able to diagnose and fix the problem right away... He did a great job for a good price... I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a good contractor.

Damian was amazing. I hired him to finish a rather small project, opened a wall and install a ceiling beam, and I tell you it looks amazing. Couldn't be happier with the quality of his work. He also was able to finish the project on time. Matter of fact I'm getting ready to hire him again to help with many more projects I need completed. If you need some work done on your home, call Damian first.

We just finished up a huge project and Damian was excellent. Quality of work, attention to detail and doing things right are what he is all about. We put up all new siding on the entire house and replaced 33 windows and three sliding doors. Amazed at how well everything came out. I highly recommend him for any of your window and siding needs. I had a leaky picture window, it was a small job and most contractors would not take it or gave me outrages quotes. However, Damian returned my call, gave me a reasonable quote. He could not do the job for me right away but promised to call back and HE DID (right before his X'mas vacation). He fixed my window beautifully. He even readjusted my other window that had closing problem out of courtesy without a secondary thought. I highly recommend Slovan Construction for Damian is honest, knowledgeable, quick and strong yet very careful !

I spent a lot of time looking for a contractor to put in a sliding glass door and windows last year and found Damien through Home Improvement after interviewing four other contractors. When I first met him and we discussed the project and prices I thought I was taking a chance hiring him as though he seemed professional I had my doubts that he could do this project himself. First let me tell you he knows what he is doing. He is careful and has good taste. He is also very strong and quick and doing this project himself wasn't a problem for him. I can also state that he was much better then the other contractors in price and ability to get this project done quickly. He offered to do more and was very careful about making sure I received an excellent product. So yes he is a solid find and I would highly recommend him.

I gathered multiple estimates for replacing windows and doors from the living room, as well as a smaller sliding glass door. I found this company through before coming to yelp, and was very pleased with my experience. Damian gave me a fair and reasonable quote; I usually only review restaurants and hotels, and have zero patience for lack of professionalism, however I was so impressed with the SLOVAN CONSTRUCTION, that I just had to leave a positive review. Everything went without a hitch and Damian left my home as clean as it was when he arrived. With the exception of the beautiful shiny new windows there were no signs that any major construction took place at my home. Damian is very professional, and knowledgeable, and he took a lot of time to answer all of my questions. I've had such a satisfied experience I am hiring him on for more projects. I highly recommend Damian to anyone in the Bay Area looking for new windows and doors.

I highly recommend Slovan Construction Inc. Damian Svoboda is a man of his word and meticulous in his work. Further, he makes sure he understands exactly what it is you want and that you have an agreement on what it is he will be doing. He was very pleasant to work with and we would not hesitate to use him again. Damian re-constructed a large closet for us with double doors. It was perfect when he was done! He also installs doors & windows and has a wealth of home service skills. He has a general contractor's license and covers lots of ground in the home improvement and remodeling area from kitchen and bath remodeling to siding and decks. I almost hesitate to write this review as he is sure to be very busy! But - good work should be rewarded. Barbara, Walnut Creek.
