I purchased so many items from their Howard Ruby estate sale in Beverly Hills I had to make three trips to get everything home.I bought a chandelier, a very expensive wicker furniture set, several ceramic pots, several framed mirrors, 2 wood tables, 2 table lamps, an amazing outdoor umbrella, two garden stools, and some very cool vintage jewelry. We went early and it was worth it because things did sell quickly. All the other buyers were serious like we were.Everything was well organized so depending on what you were interested in, it could be found easily. I really liked that they had security guards because you never know now-a-days what could happen at a big event. They also had a shuttle so you could park and know that your car was safe too.All the other buyers were as excited as we were and we met some nice people that we now keep in touch with. The staff was pleasant and helpful too. I hope there are more estate sales like this.

I had a wonderful experience at the Yevette Mimieux Sale-even though I was the last in the gate on Friday. After a long day of customers rampaging throughout (to be expected when looking for a bargain) the team was ready to pack it up for the day. Even so, Matt couldn't have been more friendly and willing to help. I went back the next day to purchase many items and couldn't have been more impressed with the patience and professionallism on display. Running these sales isn't easy or for the faint of heart-nor should it be. That's Business! However, if some of the customers were a bit nicer they might find the experience can be enjoyable for all. Thx California Estate Team-I'm looking forward to your next sale!

The Yvette Mimieux sale was the most disorganized, awful, understaffed sale I have ever been to. They say 3,000 people were there? Really? Then why did they have 1 cashier? We feel bad for the clients, so many people left the things they wanted to purchase because they couldn't stand for hours in the sun to make a purchase. The people working were so rude, uninterested, unwelcoming and couldn't answer any questions. At one point there was an announcement that something had been sold twice, people were missing things in the holding area as there was no one there to keep an eye on anything. There was so much left to sell in the sale. We will never go to one of their sales again. A sale like that should've had triple the staff with a lot more training.

Bought this pillow at the Belair estate sale today. There is nothing wrong with World Market, but when the cashiers tell you that these come from home of a celebrity and that we shouldn’t try to negotiate the price, one can’t help but feel ripped off I also saw a table that they said was from Morocco for $140 only to flip it upside down and see a Ross sticker for $34. They then proceeded to have the nerve to tell me that they cannot sell me a stained and ripped coverlet for $25 nor a fitted sheet for $20 because it was never used and priced originally for $120. Who knows how long it has been “new” in the package. Maybe ten years? Who knows. They are rude. Don’t bother going unless you want to wait hours before getting ripped off

Hello,I was just at the California Estates & Auction in Bel Air. I went to the sale 3 times. They had the best merchandise. The prices were great and the staff could not be nicer. It was the Yvette Minieux estate. There is on day left. I urge everyone to get there.Life is better now that I found great treasures there.Tom Thomas

I recently came to their sale in Bel Air, I was pleasantly surprised on how this sale work, the staff is super friendly, they were super organized, efficient, flexible and supportive, the prices were very good, they were willing to work with me, I’m so happy to have met Cathetine and this company, I would definitely recommend their services.

Just left my first of their estate sales, an incredible gem in Bel Air-- this company did a great job at staffing every room and corner of the estate, answering pricing questions quickly and managing the flow of guests through the space. Dragana was especially helpful at the payout line and a pleasure to speak to. Congrats on an epic sale!

Blonde Serbian woman at the jewelry spot was the worst along with the brown haired woman next to her taking cash payments. Shame on them. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Who do they think they are? We are paying customers at the end of the day and we are tired too after waiting for two hours to get into this sale.

My 95 year old parents both passed away this past year, and while cleaning out the house, I found some interesting “treasures!” Things I knew would be of value to someone out there…but where?? Catherine and her auction found that person and I was thrilled to get a great price. Thank you!

I had a great experience with this company. My fiancé and I were moving out to start a remodel and needed to get rid of our furniture. Not only did they sell our furniture, they sold EVERYTHING we wanted to get rid of. They staged the house perfectly with all of our furniture, clothes, dishes, kitchen ware, anything that could sell & everything was priced to our expectations. We ended up selling way more then expected and making thousands more then expected. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to clear out a home. They left it spotless at the end and donated everything that didn't sell. High class experience.

I retained California Estate Sales and Auction to sell a wall sculpture of mine. They made the process very easy. They were able to sell my item and I was paid promptly. I plan to use them again to sell my next item. I highly recommend them.
