I picked this salon based on the google star review it had online. 4.7 out of 5. I wouldn’t give this place 2 stars, which is why I’m giving them 1 star. I was in the area for my fiancé’s daughter’s wedding and I called the salon to book an appointment for a simple updo and a light makeup application (I wanted to look like myself but better), I looked like a clown when I was finished. When I called to make my appointment I told the receptionist that I wanted to be done by 11:00 and they scheduled me for 9:30, I double checked with the receptionist that I would be done by 11:00 with hair and makeup if we started at 9:30, they assured me that I would be. I walked in at 9:20 and neither the makeup artist (Samantha) or the hair stylist (Ruby) were there. The receptionist said that she didn’t have anyone with a 9:30 appointment, should have been my first red flag about this salon. Samantha didn’t walk into the salon until 10:00. I have a text message from her stating that we could get started at 9:30. I didn’t leave the salon until 12:30!!! Pictures for the wedding were starting at 2:00 and I still had to go back to the hotel and get dressed and fix my makeup because I was having an allergic reaction to the lash glue. The concealer under my eyes looked horrible by the time I got back to the hotel, it was gone because my eyes were watering from the reaction I was having from the lash glue. I was already not feeling very confident about the time management ability of her. In our text message consultation I sent her several pictures of what I was looking for and told her that I was in my mid 40s and that I know that less is more when it comes to makeup with mature skin. She said that we could have a thorough consultation throughout the appointment, we didn’t have that at all. I took a picture of me halfway through to send to my fiancé and I didn’t recognize myself. Samantha did take some of the makeup down but not enough. I had so much makeup on my face that I looked 10 years older than I am. I would not recommend Samantha for any makeup looks unless you like the bold look. I sent several pictures of what I wanted for my hair and they were simple low buns at the nape of my neck. Thank goodness I didn’t want anything too complicated because Ruby only had about 45 minutes to get my hair done. Ruby did ok with my hair but I also didn’t have time to ask for anything different because I was already there an hour and a half after I wanted to be done. I would not recommend this salon and I will not return. If I had the time I would have asked to speak to the manager or owner but if I would have done that we wouldn’t have made it to my fiancé’s daughter’s wedding on time.

First time customer. Soooo happy! Marina got rid of my grey and gave me pretty blonde highlights just like I asked. She used Olaplex also so as not to damage my hair and pricing was great. Very very happy with my result. Definitely going back! Thank you

I've been coming to Alexander's for a long while. The salon is very large, many different services offered and they have the yummiest cafe in house that you can order from while getting your hair done. My hair stylist is Iliana Hernandez and she is absolutely amazing!!! You wont regret booking with her. She always gets what I want to do with my hair and leaves it just beautiful.
