This place is great, Dr. Sean took good care of my boa constrictor when she needed an abscess removed. Not to mention the rest of the staff who were so kind despite being super busy and dealing with impatient clients every time I came in.Also, the cat I met in the waiting room was super chill.

I had adopted two kittens about a month ago and the spay/neuter was included in the adoption fee but when I looked into the vet they used I felt really unsafe going to them. I even called the other vet to ask questions and their office manager hung up on me. It was a horrible experience. So I decided to pay out of pocket to get my kittens fixed. I found you guys on yelp and from the first greeting on the phone from Brianna, it was a completely opposite experience. Everyone that helped me was extremely kind and they were so sweet and gentle with my kitten. Absolute peace of mind to bring my pets to you guys. I will be coming to your office only with my kittens from now on. Thank you.

I don't like writing reviews if I don't have to but I think I should share my experience from this clinic so no pet owner will have the same experience as what our family is going through right now.i took my bird at this clinic to get her check after I noticed a blood on her feather on the middle back . I was able to stopped the bleeding and it dried up since it looks like she pulled a blood feather. I was concern that the dry blood on her feathers will be an issue since my bird keep on trying to fluff the area and it might cause bleeding again. So I decided to have it check. The vet that she saw was Dr. Baldwin, he did a physical exam and I was told everything was good. I asked if they can clean the area, which the vet agree and I was told she need to be mildly sedated so she won't get stress out, which I agree. They took my bird and in few minutes I was told she needs to come back the next day since she need to be deeply sedated since she's very resistant. The next day my bird was so lively and eating well before I dropped her to the vet. An hour later I got a call from a vet tech saying that my bird seems to have air sac problem so they need to do a cat scan and she need to be mildly sedated. I questioned the tech about it and she said they just want to make sure before cleaning her dried feathers . I asked how long before I can pick her up and I was told once shes on recovery they will call me. At around past 3:00, dr Baldwin called me saying my bird stopped breathing during recovery and his team are currently doing CPR and he will call me back. I panicked and got a call from Baldwin again in less than 5 minutes telling me my bird had died and they been doing CPR for 30 minutes already. I went straight in there and when they gave me my bird she was wrapped in a dingy small towel and had to wait for Baldwin to explain to me what happened. Finally he came in with the tech and told me same thing that my bird stopped breathing during recovery. I asked him what is the result of the cat scan and he told me it was fine . I asked him why did he mildly sedated her and the still put her on deep sedation to clean the dry blood, how come he didn't give her a break since birds are very fragile. His answer was " sedation is a nasty chemical" , that really blew me away. I have to let him know what my job is since he was making me look stupid. I left the clinic and the next day I tried calling the owner Dr Bart. When I finally talked to him , I was told my bird had a ruptured air sac after looking the cat scan and my bird died during procedure . I told dr Bart what he was telling me was opposite of what Dr Baldwin told me. After learning what really happen I realized Baldwin did not have experience on handling birds that he didnt properly assessed my bird's health and treated my baby like a dummy. I had this bird for 5 years ,since she was a baby , she accidentally got lost twice both overnight (I don't want her wings clip so she can be free flying around the house) but she managed to come back home ,evading the hawks and predators in my area. I can't believe a vet will be the one who will take her away from us due to inexperience and negligence in treating birds. Big lesson learn here, I didn't check his credentials before I let him touch my bird, he graduated 2022 in some part of Australia and barely started at the clinic. Like what I told Dr Bart, I trusted his clinic since Dr. Bart took care of my bird before, If I didn't panicked ,I could have waited for an opening with dr Bart . I hope this review will alert other bird owner to be cautious and not just trust any vet.

We've been going to Dr. Bart at AMC for over 10 years for some of our birds. He is the avian expert and treats all his patients as if they were his own. He is wonderful and his staff is top notch. I wouldn't trust my flock with anyone else.

Animal Medical Center of Corona has been my only choice for multitude of Exotic Animals that have come to reside in our home over theq years. Dr Bart's compassion for your animals care is remarkable. His Vet Tecs and Office Staff are Careing and Hard Working. His office can get busy at times, emergencies happen, but you will be seen and you won't be rushed out, and the Staff always follows up on your babies to make sure they are doing OK after their visit.Thank you Dr Bart and Everyone At Animal Medical Center of Corona
