“I love this store to find special gifts, home decor, party supplies, gift wrap, cards, art supplies, journals and of course, all the Christmas decorations I could ever need. Speaking of Christmas I saw decorations coming out on the 29th of April, wow! I was so excited to see that, I can't wait for Christmas again and I really don't mind seeing it so early in the year because I can just start buying little things months and months before Christmas. “I've been out of teaching for a few years. So, I was surprised that CM turned mostly warehouse/online orders. I ordered through the website. It was ready in one day for pickup. Staff are friendly. My husband picked it up and he said they were very nice and quick.”
“I love Joann's, it's one of my favorite stores and I spend a lot of time here. I've been coming to this location for the last twenty years. They always have what I'm looking for and I find even better things than I had in mind.I give them a 4 star instead of 5 because I arrived recently on a weekend about 15 minutes to closing and had a strange experience that I hope isn't repeated.Upon arriving the sign lights were off and when I entered the associate at the register said to me instantly, "We close in 13 minutes," I knew exactly what I was looking for and knew I wouldn't take long and I continued in. The store was very messy and disorganized for being close to closing. I found what I was searching for and was helped by Kristina in the fabrics area. She was very friendly, helpful and help me find great deals. She definitely should get a bonus or a raise, as I saw her working the whole time and was friendly, never rushing me out or being rude even though we were close to closing.The other woman Dez at the registet was a different story. She was rude when I entered, repeated on the loudspeaker multiple times that they were closing at 8:55, which is not the actual closing time. I felt very rushed and missed picking up an item because I felt like I was being rushed by the loudspeaker. I was at the counter before 9 and when I checked out, she was also rude, stating that she wanted to go home. I don't believe working in customer service is for her and would reccomend that she search for another line of work that better suits her preferences. She truly made my experience unpleasant so much that I'm sitting down to write this review.Joann's is still one of my favourite stores and I would love for them to have a remodel and refresh their team with people who are happy to be there so that the overall experience can be as pleasant as it's always been.”
